Did anyone here collect those? I didn't. But I remember seeing kids (& parents) go crazy for em & buy dozens insisting they'd be worth lotsa money someday.

Those things worth a damn today?

I've got two Beanie Babies in my room. "Rover" the red dog and "Ants" the anteater. Also one more in the living room, a colorful bird, I forgot what species of bird.
Some of these are worth quite a bit, according to Beanie Babies guidebooks (which list their worth).

I remember those. My sister used to love them. McDonalds had some in their Happy Meals or something but they were small and not as good as the regular ones. I didn't really care for them.

Yes, I have....a lot. I collected them, and looking back I don't know why. They were kinda a waste of money. But I wasn't nearly as into as some of my friends were.

I have two, and I kind of accidentally stole those from someone. I never really got into them.

I have a handful of those small critters, but I don't think that they are all technically Beanie Babies. I am sure that some of them are simply small stuffed animals.

I know for a fact that I have four Ty Beanie Babies:

One is a Thanksgiving Turkey that they just issued this past year. I got one for my sister for Christmas, and got one for myself at the same time.

The other three were special issue items, after 9/11/01, with proceeds going to charity:

1) A police dog
2) A dalmatian dog for firefighters
3) A Teddy Bear for the Red Cross
