Due to the numerous posts as of late discussing who is better, I have decided to make it a bit more involved. Exactly why is it that you obsess over Shelley, or Ted, Bebe, etc., etc.? And, phrases such as, "Because (s)he's the best," or "Because (s)he is the coolest," will be rendered invalid. We're looking for logical and cogent answers. Please develop your thoughts, and don't be apprehensive about over-investigating/analyzing your opinions. They will be more than received.

Here goes. My favorite actor is George Wendt. Not just because of his role as Norm, but for him as a person and other roles. He has accomplished many things in his life and continues to do so. I'm not sure why but he has had just a great impact on me. I get stoked whenever a Wendt film comes on or pic or whatever comes in the mail. I have dedicated one whole side of my room to him. Walls covered in pictures and 8x10's. I installed a shelf that displays all his movies that I have purchased. It doesn't matter what time anything he is in comes on, I have to watch it. He just makes me laugh and puts me in a good mood. I hope to some day meet him. I finally got his home address and with the help of some of you, I think I might make a video to send to him. I'm not saying that I deserve to meet him more than anyone else but of a lot of people I think I would enjoy it alot more. It's cool to meet your heros. And I want to let him know that he is mine.

Well, I don't really obsess over Bebe, but Lilith is my FAVORITE character on the series, and, of course, one must credit Bebe for portrayin' her. lol :p

She turned what could have been a one-episode fluke into a dry, monotonous, hysterical character who was a wonderful match for Frasier.

Also, I think it's interesting that a Broadway star took the time and dedication to do a TV series---sure, she wasn't a regular for every show, but still. Interesting, and something I admire her for. :)

Ever since I was a little girl, mabye 5 or 6 years old, I loved the character of Lilith. At the time I had very little access to any information about the actress who played her and infact I don't think I even knew her name. After "Cheers" went off the air following it's original run I kinda forgot about Lilith & Bebe for a while, then in 1996 (I think I was 13, but I can't remeber what month it was, I might have been 14.) I got the chance to see Bebe in "Chicago" and when I realized it was the same actress playing Velma on the stage as had been playing Lilith whom I had loved so much I was smitten. Then once I Internet access I started to do some research and was so impressed by her talent & her ability to play such varied roles in all mediums that had me hooked, not to mention the small fact that SHE IS HOT!

well, since i was 10 years old i have loved every shelley movie i have ever watched. she is a good actress and is very pretty!! i not only just like shelley i like the characters she plays. shelley puts a lot of effort i think in being an actress. the first time i watched cheers and shelley was on, she has just been my favorite actress ever since. shelley as accomplished a lot of things during her life. that is why i obsess over shelley so much!! SHELLEY ROXS!!!:)

I admire Bebe Neuwirth for the variety in all of her various roles. She doesn't stick to just drama, or just comedy, she varies it. I mean The Faculty- horror, Tadpole- romantic comedy, Liberty Heights- drama, Pionnochio- childrens movie. Most actors stick to just comedy, or just drama. Not our Bebe! I loved her as Lilith because Lilith was a character whose personality was so far away from Bebe's, and only someone THAT talented could pull off a role like that. Not to mention Bebe is gorgeous, even though last weeks STAR was an insult to her!!

well dur why does anyone like anyone?... they have good personalites and they seem fun-loving !

The reason I like Shelley and Ted is well because i have to honestly say that i have never ever seen that type of sexual tension between to actors who weren't emotionally invovled on T.V. They really made you believe that it was all true. That if you went to Boston and visited Beacon Street saw melvilles and walked downstairs, you would see Sam flirting with Diane, Carla picking on cliff Norm drinking his beer, and Coach or Woody making simple minded remarks. They made me want to be part of the Cheers family. Watching the "office scenes" were the funniest things i have ever seen and i have yet to seen or i think will ever see such chemistry between two actors or a show.:lol:

Well I think that Bebe is just the greatest actess in the world. When I first started watching Cheers she was the reason while I watched it because of her potrayal as Lilith. I dont know to me it just seems like she's just this incredible person who is so talented and nice.yes well there's my reason lol
