I honestly felt that Perfect Strangers was a female show because the two male characters didn't give off a manly vibe. Both men were silly and too nice which made it very hard for me to get into the show. It also seemed like they never went out on dates or had steady girlfriends. It just appeared to me that those two were just together all the time. So is there any other male that didn't like perfect strangers? If there is a male who liked this show please tell me why.

Personnally, I like the show.
It's spinoff (Family Matters) is much better though.
But I really liked Perfect Strangers because the chemistry between them was hilarious. Female show or not.
I also happen to like the Facts of Life.
And I am in no way homosexual (or homophobic by saying that)

I wasn't saying that were homosexuals, i just said Larry and Balki wasn't serious enough as male characters for me as man to take the show seriously. They were VERY SILLY and didn't appear to be mature characters at all. They did not ac as men, more like teenagers.

Yeah Bosom Buddies was another show with weak male characters.

They did. They went out with two girls from season 2 (or season 3) until the end of the series when both Balki and Larry married the two girls. One of them was named Mary Ann, the other one's name I forget.

I like PS, but I can't watch like two episodes at a time. For some reason it loses my interest after watching one episode which did hold my interest.

Jennifer and Mary Ann were their girlfriends/wives names. In the final episode, both Larry and Balki became fathers. Oh yeah, I like the show. In my opinion it's better that Family Matters, although I like that show too.

I enjoy PS, it may not be a a good as Laverne & Shirley or The Odd Couple, but is certainly better than Bosom Buddies. But, it can be entertaining at times, and they really bring life to physical comedy. Even though, they are two grown men, acting as if they were two children, LOL, but I think is better than Family Matters.

As a male I loved Perfect Strangers. We are living in a world today where men are afraid of having close male buddies due to not wanting to be perceived as being gay. It is sad. I like the fact that the show brought two men, who are distantly related, together to share an apartment, become best friends and end up falling in love, getting married and become fathers. Larry and Balki, as I imagine them now, are lifelong friends. We need to look at the show of how friends are there for each other through thick and thin and genuinely care for each other like close brothers.

The only thing I found wrong with Perfect Strangers was that it stayed on a couple of seasons too long. That show should had the plug pulled after season five.

Larry and Balki were fun to watch. They were goofy and like little boys together but, as I say again, displayed a deep bond.

Mark Linn-Baker and Bronson Pinchot were, in my opinion, the best male comedy duo since Jack Klugman and Tony Randall and Jackie Gleason and Art Carney. I could not stand Bosom Buddies. As a male I had a problem with that show.
