I mean sure, I was glad to see him, and he got one good zinger off John Ritter. But, will his cameo a hint towards anything? Will "ALF" be coming back to Viacom anytime soon? Or was he just there as a classic TV icon?

I think it was just as a classic TV icon, much like Vicki Lawrence as Mama. I'd love to see the old ALF show return to TV. I still have some episodes of ALF that I taped off of Nick at Nite & on a free preview of the Odyssey channel a couple of years ago. Too bad Nick at Nite never picked up the show on a regular basis, but someone will eventually--perhaps to capitalize on those telephone commercials. They could also do a new ALF show--maybe a buddy comedy with ALF & Hulk Hogan or Gary Coleman living together.

Too bad Sci-Fi never picked up a propsed ALF talk show that was pitched to them a couple of years ago.

ALF should've been there as an award-winner, IMO.

When was the ALF talk show proposed to Sci-Fi? That sounds really cool. Someone else should pick it up.
