I have no idea what day Bandstand was on during the time American Dreams is set, but it was on Saturday afternoons for years (approximately 1965 till the time it left the air).

That would make sense that it's on Saturday, cuz when Meg had to go to the cemetary with Jack, wasn't that a Saturday morning? I think it might have been on more than one day a week, though (or at least that's the way they have it on AD) because lots of times, don't Meg and Roxanne go from school to bandstand? Also, it seems like they go there more frequently than once a week. Maybe they just had to have it more often so that AD has enough stuff going on.

But they're in 1964.And it makes sense actually, that it would be on Saturdays, because during the week they must have to go to rehearsals (sp?),so that would explain why it seems they're always coming home from school and going to Bandstand.Eh?
