OK, as we diehard fans all know, the four Golden Girls did a live scene for the Queen of England back in the 1980s.

Does anyone have a copy of this? Was it filmed? What was the topic of the scene?

I remember catching a bit on the profile that aired a few months back, but I'm curious if anyone the Brit's have a copy or know more about it.

I remember the scene very, very vaguely back in '88. Sometimes, in the UK, there will be a show of the 'best of' the Royal Variety Performances so I'll be on the lookout for that should it ever come about in the future. I'm sad I didn't get to see it properly as at the end, the Queen meets all the stars who stand in a line and I'd love to have seen the girls there!

Something that was on TV more recently in the UK was a quiz show called Through The Keyhole. Basically you get Sir David Frost and a team of 3 celebrities (the panel) in the studios in London and a guy called Lloyd Grossman who goes into a celebs house and picks out clues and stuff and the panel back home have to guess who's house it is. A week ago none other than Rue McClanahan's home was on and I MISSED IT :crying: I e-mailed the BBC to ask when they would be repeating, but they couldn't help me, so I've mailed the shows makers, Action Time, in the hope they can provide me with a tape. Doubtful but you never know! I bet there was lots of clues in the house to her connection with The Golden Girls aswell...and my bet is that when Lloyd was about to take is into her bedroom (yep, they even go there) he'd have said "Let's take a look in the boudoir!" ;)

yeah first heard about this on that profile on the girls. Golden Girls Live. It would definitely be great to to see that in it's entirety.
