I'm sorta new here, I think I might have posted once or twice before. Let me introduce myself....my name is Kristin, I'm 15 years old, I'm from Michigan, but soon to be Tennessee. I absolutely love classics like "I Love Lucy" (my all-time fav, of course!!), the Andy Griffith Show, All In The Family, and "The Honeymooners." LOL Sometimes I feel like I should've been born years before I actually was because I'm fascinated by the 50s and 60s. The way people lived, the music (Elvis...WOO HOO!), the shows, the movies. You just can't compare 'em to todays tv shows, movies, and comedians. The only show I'm really into from nowadays is "Everybody Loves Raymond."

Anyways.....I was watching Lucy and Desi: A Home Movie a few weeks ago and I just started crying at the end where the people who knew Lucy and Desi said that in the end all Lucy would do was play games and all Desi would do was fish and all. Then when they said that Lucy said Desi would always be the love of her life. And how they said Desi would cry over her.....awwww. Especially at the end, where Lucie Arnaz showed the home video of Lucy and Desi and Lucie's son Simon in the pool. Did ya'll see that?

hey cherrybomb, welcome to the board!! My name is Marta, I'm 13 and I live in NY. I am exactly the same about the old tv shows and music and stuff, I LOVE 70's music!!! do u like The Dick Van Dyke Show, or The Mary Tyler Moore Show?? Those are my favorites, aside from Lucy that is. hehe!!!!

I have a pretty eclectic taste in music, so long as it's not rap or country. As far as 70's music goes, I *love* Fleetwood Mac and Cher as well as the Begees, Elton John, America, Bread, Air Supply, Carol King, so on and so forth. I love 80's music too.
