I don't know if this has been posted or not (It probably has been, but I don't think I've seen it.), but who would you consider your number one friend? The person that you're most greatful to or is just such a great person that you can't imagine not being able to know them? You don't have to name names if it's someone offline or off the boards, but please only pick one person. MIne would have to be this girl I met during sophomore year in my Spanish class. She gave me the self confidence to be a better person and to open up more so I thank her every day of my life for being able to just be there. She's my best friend. :) So.....go on. Feel free to share. :p

this girl who was my best friend all through elementary school- she moved across the country in 5th grade and we've kept in touch ever since- talk on the phone every week, online a lot, and visit in the summer.
most of my close friends are guys since i have issues a lot of the time w/ other girls (gossip, back-stabbing, competition, etc), but shes always been there and we're as good of friends now as we were back when we were seven years old.

That's great! I just recently moved 1300 miles away from my hometown about two years ago and have have been in contact with only one person from back home. Just one. We usually write letters or e-mails to each other, but since I got my cell phone, I've been calling her every other week and it just feels good to have a connection back home. Even thought you weren't the one who moved, I think it's great that you keep in contact with her. I'd probably be lost if I didn't talk to someone from back there and it means a lot to someone to just have that one connection.

all my Best Friendships ended in 8th grade...never had one since...or even a friend who really understood me.

I've had many people that I've considered to be my best friends, but actually I found a really good friend where I work. She's in her 30's but that's fine b/c she's cool & I've always gotten along better with people older then me. She's a really caring, nice person and my friends my age just pretty much care about themselves.

Well, I lost my best friend Jeff in November over a rather stupid argument. And I regret that stupid argument like, every day. I want to apologize but I like...dont know how. I almost did a couple of weeks ago but...I didn't. I was too nervous. And since than I haven't really had a best friend. He did come to these boards once in awhile and he may have seemed a little odd but he is a great person...I'm getting to sad and crap. :p

My best friend's name is Julie. We've known each other since 1st grade and have been best friends since 4th grade. We have gone through so much together, and both of your lives have been turned upside down since we've known each other. We tell each other everything and are such complete opposites, it's hard to believe that we are best friends. But we are and have been for 7 years, and I don't know what I would do if she wasn't in my life.

Dana. We've been best friends ever since 6th grade. She understands me completely and we can talk about anything, and we both know that it won't go any farther than just us. When i moved away in 8th grade she was the only one that made an equal effort to keep in touch w/ me.. we've been friends for 6 years now and still going.

JJ because she is a beautiful person inside and we can tell each other stuff and not judge each other. I consider her my best friend. Plus she loves Buffy, thats hard to find in friends.

offline Michele.I started out being Her sisters Friend (I wouldnt say bestfriend but definetly good friend) and then I met her and we just clicked we've been best friends ever since and we've gone through alot together I was there when her dad left her family , she was there for me when I was having issues with my family and my Friend Heather Heck she was even there when My Grandpa died :)
online: thats harder to say I have alot of really good friends and I cant chose just one Rachel: because we've been through alot together and she sticks by me eventhough she knows I"m sick of Friends and she still Loves it and I watched her grow up ,Jenn because shes My Gillian and I"m her Sally (You have to see Practical Magic to get that one but if you have you'd know what i mean),Laura: she understands me more then anyoneelse and the Most recent Mariana we just met but we have alot in common :)

My best friend Amanda. She moved to Danville in 9th grade. We didnt actually start talking though til (LOl!) we saw eachother @ KMART and just....stared @ eachother. LOl. We've been BF since. Screw everyone else from school!

I have two of them...My best friend Kelli and my other friend Rachel.. I've known Kelli for 5 years and Rachel for 3 years and they have stuck with me through thick and thin. Kelli was the only one who visited me in the hospitle when i broke my arm 4 years ago. And Rachel beat the sh!!!t out of this girl who was messing with me. We are the three muskateers and we will always be friends.

my best friend would be my friend elenna. she switched schools in 8th grade and my best friend at that time became friends with her, so we all hung out. i didn't really get to know here till the end of the school year last year, when my best friend was being a bitch and everything was going crazy. she's there for me and i'm there for her. she's so cool. also, we're both moving into different houses in the beginning of april, so, we talk about our new houses, and packing, and all that lovely stuff together for hours.

I hope you can keep in touch with them as long as my friend and I have- it was 6 years last November since she left. We were bad at the letter writing thing, thank goodness e-mail came around when it did, and we've run up some massive phone bills since then.

I met my best friend Pam in preschool. And see if it wasn't for our moms, we probably wouldn't be as close as we are today. lol. Anyway, we were best friends probably by the second day of preschool. We did everything together, usually we only played with each other lol. And see we have been going to the same school all our lives and now since this is our last year...we're...we're...going to different high schools. :crying: Oh well. I hope we can still stay friends because we've been best friends for 10 years, and I hope there are more to come. :)

Aww yay Amy. I would have to say you and Amy B are my best friends. I guess my best friends are people that I could be a complete goof or serious or ******* and they would still be there for me.

My boss/friend Kellie. She is my friend even though sometimes I irritate the crap out of her sometimes and she likes me for who I am. We have a lot in common and always have a good time!

I've known my friend Amanda since second grade. We hated each other then, but we met again in middle school and we've been close ever since. We hardly talk anymore because she works every second of the day, but we're still close and I still consider her my best friend. I talk to my friend Angela more, but I'm not allowed to hang out with her, so we really aren't that close.

I don't have a best friend:( I do have a few good friends though.

mine would probly be jillian. shes been my friend seince last year which is strange cuz she used to be my enemy i have a lot of those. she has always been there and accepts me for what and who i am. plus she doesn't mind all my smart-ass-sexist comments i make around her just to bug her so she is really cool. and she said one of the reasons shes my friend is because i am one of the few people she knows who cares about their friends and will stand up for them. in my school loyalties are mostly skin deep.

Hmm, probably my friend Christina. She used to live 2 doors over from my house but then her parents divorced so now she lives with her dad like 5 minutes away from me, lol. I miss being her neighbor, though. I haven't seen her in so long. She's also 3 years older than me but is this person that gets along with basically everyone, you know? She's great.

I would have to say that I havent really know my best friend long in average of time, but it seems I have know her forever sometimes, I got to know her over the internet for a long period of time, and when we finally met we connected really fast like. From that moment she has been one of my best friends. More like a sister at times. I could tell her anything, and do anything for her. I would trust her with my very life. She is a unique and beautiful person on the inside and out. She makes my life intresting, and we can always tell each others thoughts. Its nice to have a best friend like that. She joins me in my thoughts for wild adventers, and even adds her own. She has taught me alot, and I hope I have taught her to. Well my best friend is Jamie, and she is a wonderful person to know.

Ditto Nate:D... Well anyways my best friend is Nate. It is true that we have not known eachother long, but in the time i have known him, we have became very close.. He is a great person, who always seems to be there whenever I am depressed ( which is actually more often than not.) He is smart, funny, and we can read each other like we have known eachother forever.. Luv ya hun

Rob is my best friend. We've known each other for almost 12 years. I met him on a local bbs in 91. We really understand each other.

Holly is becoming someone I consider my best friend. She's on here as Belle Black. We've been working in the same office for almost 2 years. We shared alot of good and bad times.

Marie is wonderful, she's like a second mother, She and I pick on each other alot, it's fun. She understands my weird little personality.

The Gang at the Happy Days board. They're great, they just accept me for who I am. They're very nice people and alot of fun.
It's nice to know they're there if I need someone to talk to.

my best friend is danielle, its kinda weird though cause when we first met we really hated each other LOL. Also my best friend Nicole i have known her since i was 4. Online my best friends melanie, jess, sara, cara, and chris. Even though Cara made me pick up white trash when I forgot to list Gone With The Wind. I know better not to do that now LOL :P. well I know that you just wanted us to say one bestfriend, but thats really hard for me. I have 4 best friends, and they are all equally my Best friends, and it would be very hard to pick just one. 3 of them are on these boards... I don't really know who my best friend is anymore...I move around so much it's hard to have lasting friendships. I think my closest friends are (not Bonnie Raitt, obviously) my online friends Bonnie and Madelyn. Kaitlyn too, but I'm not sure since we haven't really talked much lately. It's also hard to make friends when you're going through emotional things like moving from one state to another and you go kinda nuts for a while. People get a bad impression of you and ugh...*Hides under the bed*

That would be my cousin. We always have cat fights, but we know that when everything fails and we seriously need someone, the other will be there. We grew up together, then got in a major fight in high school and completely stopped talking. She flew into the social scene, and became a huge partier, and I wasn't into that scene. Then, her mom died several years ago, she got really depressed, her other friends turned out to only like hanging around her when she was "fun" and we became close again. We've been through hell and back since then. Our personalites sorta clash, but we are still really good friends and we are always calling and checking up on the other when our schedules just won't let us hang out. She's engaged now, and her fiance is really cool as well.


Growing up I had a best friend. She was the popular, cheerleader type. I was the shy bookworm type. Slowly, we shifted into different groups and stopped hanging out. Last I heard she was a fashion model somewhere locally. I dunno though.
