Okay all you whiz kids, i need your diagnosis.
I have some data on a disk (3.5) that I would like to access. My new computer is not reading the disk, saying it needs to be formatted.
Knowing that formatting the disk will destroy the data, I unpacked my old computer to look at the files.
But, my old computer is giving me an error message, saying it can't "read from the device" which I presume is the floppy drive.
So, is this disk now worthless? Is my data lost forever?
:(
