jamestownfan 07-28-2001, 08:38 AM Hi LZ. Loved your site, especially the blooper page. I copied it so
I could follow along when I watch the episodes. I am always looking for anything that has to do with the episode The Ballet that has pictures of Lucy at the barre so I was thrilled to see that rare picture in your photo gallery. You don't see too much merchandise with Lucy in her Ballet class on it. Thanks, Suzie

Hi lucyzone I loved your website especially the bloopers the whole site was good http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif
Thanx alot! I have really enjoyed the parts of the site I have seen so far. However, the 'blooper' page seems to have more of what I don't consider "bloopers," but just 'inconsistencies,' which all long-running shows have; especially the older shows from when it would not have been assumed that fans decades later would have their own copies and could watch their favorite eps 50 or 100 or 1000 times.
A "blooper" is more like this one which I did not see in the list (though it may be my blooper that I missed it: ) ): Lucy and Ricky are talking about redecorating the Mertzes' apartment and Lucy says, "There's only one thing for us to do-- paint the furniture and upholster the old furniture," when she meant "Paint the *apartment* and..." Desi picked up here and aked her if that is what she meant, and she said "Yes!" as if she were mad at herself, but professionally not copping out with the scene.
Terry Ross 07-28-2001, 07:51 PM It's going to take a while to go through everything but I loved the bloopers and plan to play some of my tapes {when I get time} and see if I can notice some of the mistakes.
In the meantime, here's some trivia: In the episode where Lucy & Ethel get off the bus in LA to go to Richard Widmark's house . . . well, the house shot from the exterior is the same home where Lucy and Desi lived at the time of ILL.
Good site! I'll be back.

Terry Ross 08-04-2001, 07:29 PM dawsongirl, you mean the Ricardos address? Would you believe I'm not 100% sure? Was it 623 East 68th Street? Do you know their Murray Hill phone number? It's mentioned in the episode when Lucy has the baby, when the Ricardos and Mertz' are off to California, and when they're in Italy.
I only log in once a week. Did you figure that out? I try to once during the week, if my schedule permits. Doesn't happen often, though. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif
dawsongirl 08-04-2001, 10:35 PM Yeah, I've got you pegged. I'm here everyday because I have no better sense than that. Actually, I meant Lucille's address in Beverly Hills, but it was 623 E. 68th Street. Middle of the East River no less.
No fair, you stumped me. I don't know their number. Unless it was MH5-0?99. Dang. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif

Gentlemen, Start Your Engines!!!
Terry Ross 08-08-2001, 11:30 AM When Lucy is having the baby, the number mentioned is Circle 1-2099. When they're on their way to LA and looking for a car, the number changed to Murry Hill 5-9099.
Lucille Ball's house is at 1000 North Roxbury in Beverly Hills {it's on the corner of Roxbury and Lexington}. It's the same house that you see in the Richard Widmark episode. Lucy is literally climbing over her own fence. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

dawsongirl 08-08-2001, 03:29 PM Good. They need a clapping smiley.
I want to visit Beverly Hills someday. Maybe I'll see the house.

Is that the same house Lucy lived in with Gary Morton and eventually died in?

Terry Ross 08-11-2001, 06:50 PM Lucy & Desi moved in as the first owners in the early 50's and Lucy lived there until her death in 1989.
