I have never watched this season but I wanted to know if it was really bad since Joanie and Chachi were not on because if their spinoff, No Ralph or Richie, No Al, and very little Potsie. Was this season worth watching?

Well I wonder why they had them come back if Joanie and Chachi had they own show. That sounds wacky.

Its a really good season in my opinion. Arnolds back, and Fonzie finally found a steady girlfriend.

It seems to me that the producers obviously didn't care for season 10 at all--dropping all the new season 10 characters along with Arnold & Jenny & trading in Jefferson High for George S. Patton Vocational School.

Speaking of Jenny, I always had the impression that she was in Joanie's class but it seems like she's still going to Jefferson with K.C, while Joanie's in college. Did she fail a grade, was she always a grade behind, or was this an error?

I remember reading at the time that ABC was concerned about the departure of Joanie and Chachi weakening "Happy Days", so they made (I believe) six appearances on HD that season.

I believe at some point a mention was made of Jenny being in high school a long time, implying that she had to repeat a grade. Arnold did make one more appearance early in the 11th season, BTW.

I really dislike the 10th season, and I think it's the weakest of the series. The idea of Fonzie having a steady girlfriend was a good one, but Henry Winkler and Linda Purl had NO chemistry (and don't even get me started on saccharine-sweet Heather). The new characters were underdeveloped and never really had a chance to catch on, since they were shunted aside everytime Joanie and Chachi made an appearance.

Do you think that if "JLC" never happened that the show could've lasted a year or two longer than it did? "JLC" seemed to weaken the parent show & the infussion of new characters to fill the void made things worse making it vulnerable to "The A-Team."

Like I said in another post, I think they should've developed Christine instead of introducing Ashley. Fonzie was starting to get serious with her as well right before Ashley arrived.

Who's Christine?

Christine's the music teacher which Fonzie started to get serious with in a couple of episodes @ the end of season 9 (A Touch of Classical, Hi Yo Fonzie Away). Don't get me wrong Ashley's a babe, but this other chick was basically the same character.

I thought that girl's name was Cynthia...? I could be wrong, though, I haven't seen those episodes that often. I agree though, the characters were very similar and I noticed that, too. I liked Ashley better though. In fact, Ashley & Fonzie's relationship is the reason why in some ways the tenth is one of my favorite seasons of Happy Days.
