View Full Version : Seasons 1-3 verses 4-6 Fred G Cleaver 03-15-2003, 12:58 AM i loved all the seasons of S&S but 1-3 had better plots and they were more funny storrs19 03-15-2003, 04:16 AM Definately Seasons 1 through 3. If I had to rate them on a 1 to 10, it would go as follows: Season 1: 10 Season 2: 10 Season 3: 8 Season 4: 7 Season 5: 6 Season 6: 4 There were just too many episodes in season 6 that I did not find all that funny, but I can watch the first two seasons over and over (and I often do). Chad *PinkLady* 03-15-2003, 10:06 AM I definitely agree. Let me put it this way: I want to eventually tape every episode from the first three seasons. I want to tape maybe 15 total from the last three seasons. DarleneIllyria 03-15-2003, 02:07 PM Yeah, early eps are the strongest eps. It got kind of weak as we headed toward the later seasons. It wasn't enough to jump the shark, but if it lasted one more season, it would've jumped. Jump the Shark has its own website and it lists all different kinds of categories when a show kind of gets bad. Like for Leave it to Beaver, some might say the show jumped when Beaver got older. Or for All in the Family, the category might be Exit Gloria and the Meathead, Enter Stephanie. www.jumptheshark.com Flash72 03-16-2003, 02:55 PM Named for the infamous moment when Fonzie jumped the shark on Happy Days, thereby, signaling the decline of western civilization or that particular series as we had previously known it. Big JTS indicator- the inclusion of Ted McGinley (think Love Boat and Happy Days). .:BF:. 03-16-2003, 04:20 PM i think season 1-3 was better, it was more funny. |
