The episode where Lamount brings two coffins in the house
is my favorite one out of the whole sandford&son series I
liked the others as well but this one is my favorite. My favorite
part is where lamount goes up behind fred who is sleeping
in the bed of the truck and touches him and he is sacerd half
to death I crack up everytime at that part. And the part where
lamount is trying to talk fred into coming back in you can see
the shadow of the big stuido microphone has anybody else
noticed this let me know thanks......................

Now that I have seen all the episodes on TV. I have been looking/noticing that kind of stuff going on. I also have the first two seasons on DVD and that makes it really easy to spot the "behind the scenes" stuff that we notice.

Also in the wooden coat episode, right before Lamont reaches to touch Fred he looks to make sure he could kick the cans.

The Steptoe and Son version was also very good. One of my favourites (Steptoe and Son was the fore-runner of Sanford and Son, incidentally). I haven't seen the American version. Does Fred try to get the coffins out by telling Lamont about superstitions and omens? That was the best part of the british one:
"Don't tell me about omens, I've seen too many of them in my day! You scoffed when them pidgeons landed on Mrs Bentley's roof. I said, 'hallo, there's an omen. She's not long to go' and I was right. She was dead inside 18 months"
"Dad, she was 102!"

Oh yes, that's the one!!! I love the part when Melvin and Fred are in the junk yard talking, and Lamont comes to the door and ask are you going to stand out there and talk. Fred replies, yea we are going to said out here and talk. I have to look for that big mic, next time I watch, thanks, lol.

Here's how that part went on "Sanford & Son":

FRED: Yeah, well what about when all them pigeons gathered on top of Miss Johnson's house, and I told you that was a bad sign. I said "Miss Johnson's not gonna be around long", and within a year, she was dead.
LAMONT: Pop, Miss Johnson was 97 years old.
FRED: Well, the pigeons knew it.
LAMONT: They knew they had to take a rest. Pigeons can't fly forever.
FRED: Well, why'd they have to rest on top of her roof? You can't answer that, can you?

Notice when Fred is trying to sleep in the truck and Lamont keeps waking him up....you can see that Fred is wearing a thick gold bracelet!! Just a thought!

LOL, yes I did notice that gold. Most have worn it to Vegas, and forgot to take it off for the taping of S&S.
