I would have to say that Lucy takes a cruise
to Havana was my favorite because I love it
when Lucy acts drunk. She has got to be the funniest! No matter how many times I see that
episode, I laugh until I cry. I love all of
her shows.

I enjoyed every one of them but I have a soft spot for the 'Make Room For Danny' episode, which features the cast of 'Make Room For Daddy' (a Desilu production). I grew up on that show.

My favorite comedy hour is "Sianara Lucy" where they go to Japan. I love when Lucy falls into the little fish pond & also when her and Ethel disguise themselves as Geishas, it's hilarious!

I think my favorite Lucy Desi Comedy Hour would have to be when Lucy goes to Havana. I love the scene where her and Ricky are taking turns in the restaurant playing the conga drums. That is hilarious!! Of course every single episode of hers is funny and I never get tired of watching them.

My favorite ones are The Danny Thomas one, Lucy Wins a Racehorse, and Lucy Hunts Uranium.

Ok, I am surprised no one listed the one with Talullah Bankhead. That was my fave, because of the interplay between her and Lucy. Also I LOVE Ethel as the maid, she really stole the show.
Lucy goes to Havana is right up there with it tho!

By far it's the Havana episode. I too am fond of the nightclub/bongo scene. That and the drunk scene. Second would be the Danny Thomas episode, third the hunting uranium episode, fourth the one where Lucy works for Paul Douglas. I don't know about anyone else, but the last episode with Ernie Kovacs and Edie Adams is almost too painful to watch. Knowing that was the end not only Lucy and Ricky but Lucy and Desi is quite sad. You can tell just by watching this it was hard on everyone in the show.

I'am totally surprised that no one has mentioned The Ricardos and Mertzes Go To China. That was so funny when they had to learn how to eat on the floor and when Fred took a bath with all of those frogs and fish in the pond!

and second, I didn't realize it had been so long since I posted that!

My favorite episode is Lucy hunts Uranium. The car chase is soooo hilarious. (especially when Ethel is throwing stuff at the other people's cars)

So far, Havana gets the most votes followed by a tie between Uranium and Danny Thomas. No one mentioned Sun Valley, mexico, Alaska, the summer vacation with Ida Lupino, Milton Berle episode, and the very last one.

dawsongirl would notice the China error since that is the only episode she is missing {Japan}.

OK, here's a new question:

I love them all, but my favorite is "Lucy Hunts Uranium". Like someone above said, the car chase is HILARIOUS!

I thought the horse episode was cute because of the way the horse just loved Lucy. I didn't like the Havana one because I thought it was DUMB (and I never liked flashback shows}. And Alaska would have been OK except that the skit with Lucy and Red Skeleton went on way too long {like half the show}. Paul Douglas was just OK, too. Oh I know!! And since it has virtually no sound, it's quite aggrivating.

Yep, I totally agree with the sound thing. Before and after that near-30 minute skit, the episode is good.

The "Make Room for Danny" (with Danny Thomas) episode is quite good. And I also like "The Celebrity Next Door" with Tallulah Bankhead, although it plays more like two half-hour shows sewn together. The scene where Tallulah comes to dinner and Fred and Ethel pretend to be the Ricardo's hired help is a classic.

I agree with John910. My favorite episode is the Celebrity Next Door. tallulah and lucy were awesome.

And isn't it amazing that Lucy & Tallulah hated each other. Such professionals.

The one w/Tallulah Bankhead is hysterical! When Lucy turns sour on Tallulah and continuously mocks the way she says, "Dahling," it's a scream!
