Rickenbacker 03-14-2003, 07:43 AM What're some of the things you think we'll look back on & say- Man! That's so 90s!"?
Sidenote- If you think about it, it usually takes a new decade maybe 3 years before it gets an identity & "feel" of its own, but with 9/11, we kinda jumped head-first into the 2000s...

Rise of hip hop in a very big way, as mentioned. I left in Anita Hill just to answer your question. I don't know how well remembered the trial will be down the road. Clarence Thomas was the accused.
The Internet went from, kindasorta to gottahava.
Some day, hopefully, we'll be able to say the garb, way baggy pants and all that, spawned by hip hop was so '90's. So far the garb is still with us.

Y'know, I met Clinton before and Monicagate was so huge that when I shook his hand, all I was thinking was, to put it lightly, Eww.
But I honestly think people should get over the Monica scandal. But let's save that for the political threads.
