When I was little, I hated it, because I thought it was too old. Then I met my best friend...and she had the same name! I've been cool with it ever since.

I don't like my first name Sarah. I was named after my great grandmother. It's like my parents couldn't think of anything more original to name me. Even though it's a nice name I prefer my middle name Haley because it's less common.

When I was growing up, there were 5 of us on the block. And we were all at least 2 or 3 years apart from each other. Pretty funny though.

At first I hated my first name but now I like it. Especially since I was either going to be named Greg or...Clyde. And I don't like the name Clyde to well. But I really hate my last name. I want to burn.

I used to really hate my name (Caroline) because I was constantly called "CarolYN" or "CarolEEN", no one else had the same name, and i thought it was too "old-fashioned"- just recently im starting to like it.

When I was born (84) "Crystal" was THE name to have- it was a fad of the late 80's and in every class I had, there was always atleast one Crystal. Sometimes 4. But now, I hardly see anyone with the name and customers compliment me on me "pretty" and "unique" (unique?!?!?) name. As for me liking it- yes I love my name (with a C only!!!)

Something I dont get that really pisses me off. Ok, you know when you go to a WalMart of Hallmark and they have personalized notepads, pens, photo albums, etc? Id like to know why they NEVER have my name! It goes from Courtney to Dana completely skipping my name! Yet they have other names that I hardly hear anymore!! WTF is up with that?!?! They also never have my mothers name (Shirley) and we always get pissed and we cant even buy the things b/c they dont have our name!

Unique, huh? I know at least 5 Crystals.

As far as Emily goes...YES, I HATE IT! It sounds terrible with my middle and last names, and...it's just ugh. :barf:

I hate my name! I guess it's OK and a lot of people have told me that I have a nice name but I just have an issue with it.
A lot of people mistake me for a boy and it gets quite awkward sometimes. I prefer to be called by 'Mossopp' or 'L.J.' cos both of those names are non-gender specific.

LOL this is funny because my name is Amanda too and I hate being called that I go by Mandie. I hate being called Amanda, I don't wanna offend you or anyone else who has that name, it's just I'm so used to being called Mandie that being called Amanda is weird to me.
