Dont you? Producer/Owner of TV Land or whatever he is. Grr I hate how HD didn't even win anything besides best catchphrase and they didn't even show it.

Im most likely an over reacting, But i feel kind of insulted. Not winning ana ard is one thing...But winning an award and getting edited out is anouther. Freakin Golden Girls gets on TV, But Good Ol Happy Days....The show that holds TV Land's Afternoon schedule together gets edited out like Trash. Way to go TV Land!

Why did they do that? I don't get it. Honestly. Happy Days is a staple show on TVLand. Maybe something weird happened during the whole presenting/receiving of the award and it coudln't be shown on tv? (I know. I'm grasping at straws).

Half Of The Shows That won awards arent on TV Land.

Laverne and Shirley, All In The Family, and alot of other shows deserves their awards.

Yet Happy Days doesnt. Heck, Diff'rent Strokes didnt even get an award.

I agree with everyone. I'm pretty pissed Leave It to Beaver didn't get squat either. They were somewhat represented by Henry Winkler presenting an award, and Barbara Billingsley talking about that oral history of tv thing. But over all, I was kinda dissapointed. DOWN WITH LARRY JONES!
(But I refuse to boycott tvland, because I have to watch HD and LITB to be truly happy)

LOL. Same here. For the most part I love TVLand...it's just...if these were more or less "Viewer's Choice Awards" where is the voice of the viewer here?

I know! The viewers choice awards were a JOKE. The only one i can see the viewers choosing was the food fight one with ILL and the chocolate fight. That was the best one. But most of the others I don't think they really used our votes...they just chose the nominee who was still alive and able to accept the award. Like Barbara Feldon (agent 99) getting fashion plate award. Get real! NO! and that partridge dude getting fashion plate male. no way! It was not viewers choice, it was" who's alive and remotely fits the description and who is willing to be there to accept the award."

Oh and I forgot one...who would pick "the six million dollar man" over super man for superest super hero. Geez.

Oh wow...you may have hit on something. Did all of the shows that won (that were actually shown) have a cast member there? Because if you look at the ones that weren't shown (except for HD), there wasn't a cast member there (ie; Gilligan's Island, Andy Griffith for best TVFather, Hawkeye Pierce--why weren't those guys there? You'd think that Bob Denver of all people would be, he's very fan-friendly and the same goes for Dawn Wells).

I wonder if that really has anything to do with (again, except for the Happy Days thing, because that completely and udderly blows my mind. They could have omitted a freakin' commerical or *something* and put the HD segment in. one, two minutes, maybe?).

John travolta wasn't there for his small screen silver screen thing, but he's such a big star they used him anyway with a video acceptance. but most of them they didn't even mention at all! and the rest of them yes, there was someone there to accept the award (with the exception of ILL, which we all know why...they're deceased...but they cant do a classic tv thing w/o mentioning ILL) so yea...that's my point.

My mom said the same thing! LOl. Well, the reason why 6M$ Man won over Superman etc. was because you could vote more than once @ TVLAND.com. So some man couldve voted 100 times everyday til closing time.. itd add up real quick. I wouldve voted more than once, but I was too lazy LOl. I wish I had though.. because I wanted the L&S/HD cross-over to win!! I thought itd win by a landslide. Guess not.

No Way. Spiderman and Batman are both WAY better than Superman. Do they actually expect us to buy the fact that wearing glasses is protecting his secret identity?

However i will say, That Gary Coleman/Arnold Jackson skit had me laughing so hard my side was hurting. That was the highlight of the night. I Still have visons of him sitting on that pony by The Grocery Store LOL

lol! i was just about to say that! :lol:

6M$ Man guy: "Crap! I'm up against these guys? Boy I better vote for my self 'a couple of times' so I stand a chance"*sits at computer...*"how the heck does this work?" *after 3 days...* "OH! Ok...now...I must vote...Superest super hero...ME! Superest super hero? ME! Superest super hero? ME! If i only do this 1,205,364 more times...I could win!...superest super hero? Me!" and so on...

See...none of the other super heroes were there...just him...the one with no life. So they're like hey! you'll be there!? Ok, then you get the award to make us look like these celebrities actually want to be here...by having them present to accept the awards!

Maybe we shouldn't be so hard on the TV Land people--the whole idea of an ANNUAL awards show for cancelled TV shows is weak to start with. And keep in mind that since they DO intend on this being an annual event so they would have to leave some stuff for future installments.
