HOORAY!

The cycle begins again. No more adolescent Jerry Mathers :bonk:, no more girls liking him(how preposterous!), no more bored Hugh Beaumont and stiff Barbara Billingsley :sleep2:, no more fat Frank Banks pig:, no more Big Man on Campus Wally :barf: , no more dumb opening credits.

Just wonderful sweet, gentle humor. Let's hear it for the return of the real "Leave It To Beaver"!!

Wow, tough gang tonight. I have to admit that I can't stand the later eps either. Yeah, the older Beaver sucked, imo. Glad it started focusing more towards Wally during the older years.

Funny, John. Season 6 is my favorite also, but I know what you're talking about in regards to the changes by the last season.

Hey folks... when was the first episode on? My tv guide on my digital cable screwed up once again... it said the first episode was going to be on when they actually showed Captain Jack. They showed the first episode in morning, didn't they? I'm pretty ticked I missed it.

I like all of the seasons. Different growing up stuff at all the different stages. I'm watching the haircut episode right now. It's a riot. :)

Yes, that episode is great!
Ward: Wally, what do you know about this haircut?
Wally: Well, I think it'll grow back in a week.
LOL, classic.

And I'm so pleased to see people regard the last season as their favorite. I know how much people knock it, and while I can see why they do so because of some of the changes (June and Ward are quite different towards the end of the series), I actually like seeing the episodes when Beaver and Wally are older. Season 6 is definitely my favorite. (I even wish the show would have gone on longer.)
