But I do love the Dick Van Dyke idea! Carl Reiner is so funny, Dick is so funny--they're getting on in years, but it barely shows. Carl was on the Sid Caesar show in *1949* for crying out loud! He's a legend himself. Boy would I love to see them do another show.

I also found it somehow moving when Dick sang the lyrics to the theme song. Melancholy or something.

You're not. Honestly, it doesn't make sense to me. Happy Days is on four freakin' times a day...and it's one of the best loved shows of all time. Heck...look at how long it ran for! Look at the memoribilia! Look at the popularity of Fonzie alone!

My question is, where do they get the nominees from? Do they just make up categories and then make up the nominees? The viewers should be able to nominate shows/people for categories posted on the TVLand website and annonced on TVLand. That would work well.

Some of the nominees I just didn't get.

Wasn't John Ritter very Jack Tripper? He was great.

It was a good show...but I miss not being able to see Happy Days win anything. What about Facts of Life, Three's Company, etc? I could go on with a long list of shows that I would like to see win.

I loved the fashion thing on Jock Marsel ( I cant spell his name LOL) That is my very very favorite I love Lucy episode. I am so happy that they did that!. Also I am so glad that Lucy won an award. Ricky--can you believe it?! LOL. Wow I wish she was there to accept it. I also loved that Dick Van Dyke, Mary Tyler Moore and Rose Marie speech that speech that they did. I am now an even more die hard fan of them!! Ahh.. I loved the awards they were great. I am still disappointed though that Happy days did not win anything but hey.. there is a next year guys! I know I won't get a response, but I 'd like to let them know it was a little disappointing. I didn't let them know I was a HD fan either.

I haven't been to their website in a long time, but a good while ago they had a place on there where you could submit questions about their network. Then, they'd take so many of the questions submitted and post them on their website-- along with answers from the network executives. I actually got them to answer and post one of my questions. But again, that was a LONG LONG (think years) ago.

I just finished watching the show...boy, I was furious!!! At least they won for Catch Phrase. Sigh....do you guys ever notice that not a lot of people appreicate HD? I mean, my friends think that shows like Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie and others are so much better. But they always make fun of Happy Days. I don't see it. I mean, I love the show. And I know all of you do too. It just makes me bitter to see people mock it so much.

And voting, some of the nominee's I voted for weren't even listed as being nominated! I don't remember if the nomination list was 4 or 5. Whatever!
