Will and Carlton was the two most entertaining characters out of the entire cast. That 's why i think the storyline in the last episode when Will was looking for a Apt should have turned into a spinoff. Will and Carlton move in their own place for the second time and go on double dates and a ocassional drop in from Uncle Phil. Who else thinks a spinoff with Will and Carlton would have been a great idea?

Yeah, that's not a bad idea. I certainly would have enjoyed it. Other things aside (ex., Will's movie career taking off in the mid/late 90's), I think it would have worked. The situations involving Will and Carlton were by far the most entertaining points of the whole show.

That would have been great. Maybe even have The Jeffersons on fulltime living in the Banks' old house, and letting Will and Carlton stay in the pool house.

Yeah, that would have been cool, but I think Will Smith was eager to focus on his film career!

A Spinoff with Hillary wouldnt interest me much. Carlton and Will are the most entertaining characters in my opinion. And i would have loved a spinoff with the two.

A Carlton and Will spin-off could have been a very funny show. But that never would have happened. Will Smith was moving on to MUCH bigger things when the show wrapped up.

In fact, isn't that why the series ended when it did -- because Will wanted to focus on his movie career?

I think that was the reason, I think Will had just had a hit in Indipendance Day and so wanted to do more movies. If he hadn't wanted to quit I think the show could have lasted for a while longer.

You're from Portsmouth, me too!

I don't think Will would want to do the movie but everyone else would probably be up for it.

I'd watch a spinoff of Will of Carlton - even if it was just them dancing to Jump On It. For 30 straight minutes.
