This show used to be on three times a day when I was a kid (four times if you include the Friday night episodes). Why the hell hasn't it been shown since ? At the time I assumed it just went away because it started looking dated and people had gotten their fill of it. But then I wondered if the notorious real life happenings of the cast had anything to do with its exit. Are there episodes of this show and other like it such as 'Gimme a Break' and 'Silver Spoons' just sitting in the storage room of TV station affiliates around the country collecting
dust ? Are there ways to purchase these series outside of Columbia House ? I heard years ago that basketball players Steve Smith and Joe Dumars each bought the complete collection of 'Sanford and Son' simply by asking a local TV station for their old copies. Topher Grace of 'That 70s Show' also did this when he asked Fox for every episode of the 'Ben Stiller Show'.

I guess I'm lucky. Diff'rent Strokes as well as Silver Spoons play weekdays mornings on UPN where I live. And Diff'rent Strokes also comes on twice in the morning on TBS. So I have the privilege of seeing Arnold at 6:30, 8:OO and 8:30 every morning

Diff'rent Strokes has never been on TBS before, that's A Different World.. one Arnold a day is better than none I suppose..
