I was in Suncoast the other day and went to the television section to look for some episodes of "I Love Lucy." Imagine my surprise when I saw they were no longer there and the only tape was "Lucy, the lost episodes." I asked the salesperson and she said that the people took all the tapes back from the shelves at all the stores and that their rereleasing the videos for the anniversary. Has anybody else heard about this and if is when is the anniversary? I have totally forgotten.

The anniversary is this year so it shouldn't be too long before they release them

October 15, 1951 was the original premiere of ILL. So this is the 50th anniversary. My guess would be that DVD's are coming soon.

NisaDaCutie: I have recently gone to Suncoast and countless other stores. It seems that they are not available anymore. There is an online petition to get I Love Lucy and other Lucy shows on VHS & DVD. It would be wonderful if you could sign it. it is at http://www.petitiononline.com/lucyfan/petition.html
