I was looking up his name on the IMDB and it says he is a real Jazz Musician.


I think that if the show had continued, he would have been cast to continue his role of "Ernie", with my idea that he and Mama Maybelle would hve married and bought a Jazz club that goes out of buisness (the one they talked about in the last episode).

He also played a jazz musician on The Facts of Life. Remember that episode where Tootie and Natalie went to some lodge to work.
