He said he sent my tapes on 2-18 with a tracking number,no tapes yet and he wont answer emails.

For those of you who do trade and are sending out tapes, it is good for you to keep a realtionship going with the fellow trader and give updates so people don't worry. If not, it can scare people into thinking that they have been gyped in a deal.

I agree Thomas,thats why I also post successful trade people on here.

The guy above had his ups tracking number emailed to him,and I know for a fact he got his tapes,and even who signed for them and at what time.

I should have followwed my usual rule and had him send first,big deal Im out shipping and 2 tapes,just wanted some of my friends on here to beware.:) :)

Thanks for letting us know.

It is important to keep tabs on these scam artists.

I think there should be a monthly update on who got ripped off by whom.
And conversely, if someone was badmouthed but things were settled please let us know (if you deem them trustworthy).

What's to stop bad traders from changing IDs and/or email addresses? It is important to list where they're from if possible, too.

There is nothing you can really do about them switching names and emails as we have seen people getting banned on SO and sigining up again.

That is why you should know that there is a risk dealing with a new person. And if someone did take a chance and got burned you can at least eliminate one name.

And I wouldn't take anybody's word who has 1 or 2 posts who has praise for someone who has like 1 - 5 posts. It's most likely the same person.
