What's everybody's favorite episode that has Gilbert in it? Mine is when Beaver and Gilbert are taking their kids for a ride in the car & the ep that was just on--the Mary Margeret Matthews ep.

I like those too. Also the one where Gilbert spends the night at Beavers house and they see Lumpy and Bill Scott outside in the car with masks on and end up calling the police on them.

I also enjoyed the very first episode in which Gilbert appears entitled "Beaver and Gilbert." The one where Gilbert says he has a brother who's on the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball team and other fibs, and then Beaver ends up having a fight with him because Gilbert seems to be taking all of his friends away from him. That's one of my favorites, along with the Mary Margaret Matthews ep. :)

That building was the exterior shot of Ward's office at least twice, and I think the same shot was the DMV where Wally went for his driver's test.

My favorite ep is the one where Gilbert spends the night at Beaver's and they call the police on the suspicious car outside.

I really like the first one where Gilbert is introduced (as Gilbert Gates instead of Bates).

But my favorite is the one where Beaver is suppose to give away his trains to "Little" Jimmy Bahsen. I love it when Gilbert starts playing with the trains and mimmicks the ringing of the bell......"Clang! Clang! Clang!"

Beaver ends up wanting to keep his trains.

Some other lines in the episode that are great are when Beaver and Gilbert find out Wally gave Beaver's trains to Georgia Bahsen, Jimmy's pretty sister.

Wally: "Jimmy's sister came and got 'em."

Gilbert: "Oh, that's Georgia Bahsen, she goes away to school and thinks she looks like Natalie Wood."

Beaver: "You mean you gave away my trains to a girl on account she was pretty?"

Wally: "No, I didn't given away to a girl on account of she was pretty."

Gilbert: "What did she do Wally, knock you down and take 'em away from 'ya?

:argue:

Beaver: "Wally, you said that when that Jimmie kid came, you'd stall him off!"

Wally: "But Jimmie didn't come!"

Gilbert: "You see Beaver, he gave away your trains to get mushy with a girl!"........"Why'd you go and have to have a loverboy for a brother? "

I can't think of a specific episode, but generally, I like the episodes where Gilbert convinces Beaver to do something extremely foolish, and then, when Beaver gets into trouble, runs away before he gets into trouble too.

Well, I can think of one. How about the episode where Larry is walking to Beaver's to pay him money he owes him, but Gilbert and another kid run into Larry and convince him to go to the movies with them. Beaver later finds them in the drug store having milk shakes, and when he challenges Larry to a fight, Gilbert more or less tells Larry, "Hey don't look at me. You're on your own."

Oh I forgot about the ep where Gilbert convinces Beaver to make that goofy face for the class picture. That's another of my faves.
