This ain't no race issue either, i'm just saying baseball sucks. All i like is football & basketball. We all know the Cleveland Indians will be at the bottom this yr LOL. I can't believe they let Jim Thome get away. I don't know anybody on the Indians team anymore. All management knows how to do is get rid of their best players. *PinkLady* 03-10-2003, 09:46 PM Yeah, dude, no one black cares at all. That's why a lot of MLB players are black. Get your facts straight. Truth 03-10-2003, 10:46 PM Originally posted by jimmiegirl48 Yeah, dude, no one black cares at all. Sorry to disappoint you, but I will be watching baseball on TV in April. TVFactFan 03-11-2003, 09:49 PM Originally posted by jimmiegirl48 Sorry to disappoint you, but I will be watching baseball on TV in April. Well that means you are not a fan of the NBA and NHL. Brian 03-11-2003, 10:07 PM Originally posted by SOLOMON Well that means you are not a fan of the NBA and NHL. What is that supposed to mean? How do you know besides the fact that she said she will watch baseball in April that she is not a fan of the NBA or NHL? I like all three sports and I watch them whenever I can. I'll be watching baseball next month but that doesn't mean I'm not a fan of the NBA or NHL, too. TVFactFan 03-11-2003, 10:14 PM Originally posted by BJL What is that supposed to mean? Anyone who is watching a baseball game while a NBA or NHL playoff game is on TV is not a fan of basketballand hockey-THE END. Brian 03-11-2003, 10:18 PM Originally posted by SOLOMON Anyone who is watching a baseball game while a NBA or NHL playoff game is on TV is not a fan of basketballand hockey-THE END. Actually, it's not the end. Anyone who is watching a baseball game on TV while an NBA or NHL game is on TV can just change the channel every few minutes. So are you telling me that a NBA or NHL Fan will change back and forth to a regular season baseball game while the playoffs is on which is the postseason???????????????????????? Remember baseball teams play 168 games-so there is plenty of time to get into the MLB. Pedantic 03-12-2003, 12:39 AM Jeez, I'm a fan of the NBA and MLB and I'll be watching both of their games. That's what the remote's for ;). Go Blazers! Go Braves! ;) TVFactFan 03-12-2003, 12:46 AM Originally posted by Pedantic Jeez, I'm a fan of the NBA and MLB and I'll be watching both of their games. That's what the remote's for ;). Go Blazers! So i figured baseball fans who like basketball and football wouldn't be heavy into baeball until June. My God, please remove the stick from your butt and realize that you are not the person to tell people what sports they like and what sports they don't! I am a die-hard baseball fan, but I will flip back and forth between baseball and an NBA playoff game! I am a die-hard baseball fan, but I will flip back and forth between baseball and an NBA playoff game! If you are concerned about the score of a baseball game while the NBA playoffs are on, that means you are not a true fan of the NBA. Just as simple as that. *PinkLady* 03-13-2003, 09:22 PM Solomon, let me ask you something. To be a true fan of the NBA, do you have to watch every minute of every game played in every season and memorize every play made? To be a true fan of the NBA, do you have to watch every minute of every game played in every season and memorize every play made? To be considered a fan, you must be only concerned with the NBA playoffs. Just like when the NFL playoffs were in session back in january, i was not concerned about the NBA until after the Superbowl. Kay Scarpetta 03-13-2003, 10:46 PM Okay SOLOMON, I'll play Devil's Advocate here... I'm a die-hard MLB fan, and I'm also a die-hard NFL fan. Now though the Super Bowl is not on at the same time as baseball, let's say they were for a minute... I'd switch back and forth watching both. I don't think it's your place here to tell everyone what they are a "true fan" of or not, so do us all a favor and knock off the arrogant attitude! I'm just saying i never heard of someone switching back and forth while one sport is in the postseason. Here is a prime example, ESPN airs Sunday football in the fall every sunday except during the World Series. There is never a Sunday night footall game on the same time as the World Series because it makes it easier for baseball fans to focus only on THE WORLD SERIES!- Brian 03-13-2003, 11:43 PM Originally posted by SOLOMON I'm just saying i never heard of someone switching back and forth while one sport is in the postseason.
