After watching "Rhoda the Beautiful" last night, I got to thinking about the episodes that centered around Mary and Rhoda's friendship. As a woman, I can totally relate to those episodes. The writers did a good job of capturing what that relationship is like!
Anyway, what are your favorite episodes that dealt with Mary and Rhoda? Mine would probably be the aforementioned "Rhoda the Beautiful" and "Best of Enemies".

Those are the definitive episodes of their relationship, IMO, in addition to encapsulating the full range and depth of their friendship.
As an aside, Rhoda really ticked me off in "Best of Enemies". I found it very frustrating that she seemed incapable of understanding why Mary was upset with her.

I think, from her P.O.V., it didn't matter anymore if Mary was a college graduate or not, so what was the big deal about tellling?
But you're right, Mary did have a reason to be upset. I'm just explaining what Rhoda thought.

I'd say Rhoda was insensitive, except I know how sensitive she is about her insensitivity.
Although, she was once congratulated on her sensitivity when she "were fired". - ep.# 36 "...is a Friend in Need"
