ISS=In school suspension.
In the middle of first period i got called down to the deans office..I thought it was just to tell me I had to go to detention sometime next week, but he said i have to spend the day in ISS, since i "forgot" to go to detention on Wednesday, and on Thursday. I went, sat down, slept for 3 hours, woke up at 11:50, read a chapter from "To Kill A Mocking Bird" for english, listened to music for a while, and then did HW for the rest of the day.
Thats supposed to be punishment? I wish I could do that every school day.

Yeah at my high school we call it AC. I had to do that back in the 6th grade because some guy was being a jerk and I called him something and he told on me. I did basically the same thing you did, Nirvana.

What does ISS, ASS, AC stand for? Are these punishments like detentions during school hours in confinement? If so- that'd be great. In our school, there's lunchtime detention, were you supposedly do nothing,but miss Lunch (even though you eat it in class probably, it's the law about lunch) It sounds great, to bad you have to do something bad to get in. Peace and quiet.

its like being suspended in school, instead of at home. kind of like all day detention. but it doesnt go on ur records. they just lock a bunch of people in the ISS room, and you sit there and do nothing all day.
