IN 2001 in a yahoo fantasy league I was in, that was when Bonds was doing awesome, I had bonds, I needed pitching so I agreed to trade him for Pedro... Right after that was when Pedro got injuried and was out for pretty much the rest of the season, im still mad about trading bonds then... lol

Heres how the league works...


Its a head to head league..


Each week, you face another team in the league... There are 10 categories... They are: Batting Runs, Batting Homeruns, Batting Rbi's, Stolen Bases, and Average, Pitching Wins, Pitching Saves, Pitching K's, Pitching ERA and Pitching WHIP...


Draft happens, after the draft and as the season starts you have your lineup of players from MLB and everything, at the end of each week, (The end of the current matchup against the other team) the totals are added up for how many homeruns each team had in the matchup and how many Batting runs and all the other categories I mentioned above (The totals are added based on what your team of MLB players did that week in season games), and at the end of the week, the categories you do win against your oppenent, count as wins towards your record, the ones you lose count as losses...


Then you face another team and the next week starts... and so on and At the end of the season, the top few teams will be in playoffs to fight for the top few places while the lower teams will fight for the lower spots... So your goal is just like any team in the MLB, have a good team, win in the season to get to the playoffs, and then win the playoffs to win the league...

I signed up! Should be fun. I'm already in a Yahoo private league with some of the guys from school, so this doubles the fun! :) However, can we please, please, please have a live draft??? :D :D It's way more fun that way, and people that don't want to do live draft can still pre-rank. :D :D

I'm pretty sure it can be changed. :) I did a live draft recently and I can personally testify that it was much more fun to try to decide in real-time who to pick than it would have been to rank players and have the server decide who I picked. :D And those who do not wish to participate in a live draft can abstain and instead instruct the server to pick players as if it were not a live draft. I believe about half of my league took part in the live draft. :D :D

But either way, you're definitely right, AAOT, it'll be a blast. :)

Yea Live Drafts are pretty cool, a little long but still cool... Ive done a few as well.. itd be hard to sorta pick a time though in the day thats fair for everyone.. But I guess we will see what TJ Says...

Just to let you know, I'm a rookie to fantasy baseball, I'm used to fantasy college and pro football. Good Luck to all of the players.

Well the leagues gonna have to have an even number of teams to do the draft (There are 9 now) so one more will have to join..


Then on sunday itll be an autopick draft and itll pick the players for all of us based on our pre rankings... When its ur pick, itll pick the highest person on ur prerankings that hasnt been picked...
