I lived very near to that town for several years. It used to be a logging boom town but hasn't been that for a long time. It's more of a marijuana boom town now. It has a classic nearly one hundred year old bar and hotel. It's set in the Redwoods about 20 miles from Eureka CA. What else do you know about why that person wants to buy it.

The town I lived in that was about 30 miles from Carlotta was also up for sale when I left. I don't know if it sold or not. It's a tiny town with a gas station, laundromat, hardware, grocery a few other things and last but not least -- a bar -- a very popular bar that I visited frequently. We had an 'old west' kind of thing going on there. Those were some good days!

I watch this V Graham Norton in the UK, but what channel shows it in america? Some american said BBC, but Graham is on the rival channel. ch4. Anyway, the guests are less famous ones, cos he offends everyone now, I hope someday he gets Ellen DeGeneres on, he's already had Joely Fisher.
Anyway- Graham ISN'T buying the town. Someone who lived there said there was alot of flooding, the woman selling said no, and sent him a map, but it had the word flood crossed out, still very recogniseable. He also got pictures of town buildings, which are very small town, middle of nowhere crappy buildings, like the restaurant with 2 tables etc. Too bad- he was gonna rename it GRAHAM NORTON.
