Hi all! I'm new here, and it's nice to find a place where I can chat with fellow "I Love Lucy" lovers.....

I have to admit shamefully that, up until this year, I'd never really seen an episode of "Lucy"...I just never had the time. I started watching them in bits and pieces on Nick at Nite, and found the show to be absolutely hilarious. Now I find myself taping every episode (1am is a bit late for me... http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif) and watching one or two episodes the next day. I love to laugh, and "I Love Lucy" makes me laugh as much as I've ever laughed. The chemistry between the couples is wonderful, and I think Lucy and Desi are so adoreable! I particularly love Lucy's cry and how she makes what they call the "spider sound". I can't get enough of that, and I love to hear Ricky speak; his accent is hilarious (not to offend anyone)....

I am very annoyed that, just as I am getting into "Lucy", N @ N is taking it off their schedule; I think they are making TV Land (which I don't get) their biggie channel; they've already gotten rid of the N @ N web site. I figure that between now and October, I can tape all of the shows and watch them whenever I want to....

Anyway, sorry to go on for so long!

Hi Betsy! Welcome to the boards! I too LOVE to talk about Lucy and did the same thing you're doing, taped them all. Unfortunately, the ones they air are cut for commercials, but they are all like that. Anyway, welcome and hope we can chat some more!

I for 1 don't think that I love Lucy will last on just TV Land. They will need to put it on both stations for people to tune in.
What will they show in place of this awesome
show anyway? Nothing can ever top it.
