Every website that has "Full House Theem Song lyrics" never actually has the REAL one from the show.... every website i have read has skipped entirely the part where the guy sings, "You miss your old familiar friends...etc"

My friends and I are in an arguement about what he actually says there- "You miss your old familiar friends __ waiting just around the bay," in the blank spot, he makes some sound, or says some word- what is it? Doesn aNYONE know? We've listened to the soundwave over and over, and none of us can tell. Please help.

whatever happened to predictibility,
the milkman the paperboy, evenin tv?
how did i get delivered here?
somebody tell me please
this old world.. confusin me..
clouds as mean as youve ever seen
aint a bird who knows your tune
then a little voice inside you whispers
kids dont sell your dreams so soon..

everywhere you look everywhere theres a heart
a hand to hold on to
everywhere you loook everywheres theres a face
of somebody who needs you..

when your lost out there and your all alone
a light is waiting to carry you home..

IS THAT IT?? i love that version?? please tell me thats it!

It's not "kids don't sell..." it's "please don't sell...". Everything else is correct.
There are a few common mistakes like "How did I get to livin' here" instead of "delivered here", "and a bird" instead of "ain't a bird", "there's a place of somebody who needs you" instead of "face", etc.

As for that other version (the one with "you miss your old familiar friends..."), I only got to hear it when I downloaded it from the internet, cause it was never heard in syndication. I can't tell for sure what the guy says, but it sounds like "you miss your ol' familiar friends, but waiting just around the bend".

those other lyrics are great, but these are the ones from the opening of the show. the only part i'm not sure of is the "i guess you're just familiar friends..." that parts a little hard to understand on the show. it's a great song though, enjoy!

ahhhhhh

whatever happened to predicatability
the milk man the paperboy and evenin' tv
i guess you're just familiar friends with what's waiting just around the bend

everywhere you look everywhere you look
there's a heart (there's a heart)
a hand to hold on to
everywhere you look everywhere you look

when you're lost out there and you're all alone
a light is waitin' to carry home
everywhere you look

I think the lyrics you lot are talking about are only heard in repeats, when i was in America a few years ago the version i heard on the opening titles was the lyrics you guys are talking about

Original ABC version:

Whatever happened to predictabilty?
The milkman, the paperboy, evening TV?
How did I get to livin here? Somebody tell me please!
This old world confuses me.

Clouds as mean as you've ever seen;
Ain't a bird that knows your tune.
Then a little voice inside you whispers:
"Kid, don't sell your dreams so soon!"

Everywhere you look (Everywhere you go)
There's a heart (There's a heart)
A hand to hold on to.
Everywhere you look (Everywhere you go)
There's a face
Of somebody who needs you.
Everywhere you look.

When you're lost out there and you're all alone,
A light is waiting to carry you home--
Everywhere you look.
Everywhere you look.

Syndicated version:

Whatever happened to predictabilty?
The milkman, the paperboy, evening TV?
You miss your old familiar friends, but
Waiting just around the bend....

Everywhere you look (Everywhere you go)
There's a heart (There's a heart)
A hand to hold on to.
Everywhere you look (Everywhere you go)
There's a face
Of somebody who needs you.

When you're lost out there and you're all alone,
A light is waiting to carry you home--
Everywhere you look.
Everywhere you look.

Thanks! Although, the syndicated version has the line "I guess you're just familiar friends with just around the bend". That theme, STINKS!!! I like the real version of the theme. I have the real version on my desktop theme when I turn on my computer. I guess, Nick at Nite will soon have the real opening theme restored from the original ABC airings. WB11 and TBS had the line something like "Familiar friends..." Get rid of it. I'm so tired!

Actully it goes like this:

Whatever happened to the preicibilty?
The milkman, the paperboy, Evening TV
You miss ur old familur friends
Waiting just around the ben

Everywhere you look
Everywhere you go
Is a heart, is a heart
A hand to hold onto

Everywhere you look
Everywhere You Go
Is a face
Of somebody who needs you.

When ur lost out there
And youre all alone
A light is waiting
To carry you home.
Everywhere You Look.

Guess what, I got up every morning at 6:00 AM and the alarm goes off on my IPod and the theme from "Full House" started to play. I love that one since I got up before I go to work.:) As I mentioned before since I was posted on the "Full House" board I have my IPod with a port and computer speakers. I love that theme song. Here is what it sounded like since I got up in the morning.:)

"Full House" Extended Theme (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/sounds/fullhouse-originalfullversion.mp3)

That song makes me wanna wake me up in the morning.;)

He's definately singing "Kid, don't sell your dreams so soon!" Not "please don't sell your dream so soon!" :D
