I for one am amazed. This show has to hold the record for have reruns longest in syndication. This show had been in syndication since 1967, so it's 34 years and still going. All I have to say is, WOW!!!

I had no clue that it was running that long! I know that CBS reran it in 1967, but I didn't know that some other channel picked it up when they let go of it!

If they were to cancel the I LOVE LUCY reruns
altogether,that would be the suicidal move!
We all know that it will be on the air forever more or else!!

Well they do show I love Lucy on The UPN affiliate KSTW 11 but very rarley. They actually had a 6 episode marathon on about 2 weeks ago.

I don't if it holds the record for syndication, because the Three Stooges and Little Rascals certainly predate I Love Lucy, and are still in syndication in parts of the country as well as in overseas markets.

But certainly I Love Lucy has to be in the top 10, in terms of series that are now in syndication.

I Love Lucy has always been a strong sitcom. It is no surprise to me that the series is lasting and still going after 50 whole years. I Love Lucy is truly a masterpiece and one of the GREATEST sitcoms ever! :)
