Unless the schedule changes, as of April Pav says All in the Family is no longer on the schedule. While I am not surprised, since it does not fit into their "recent" comedy hits label, I am disa'pernted' that the show is not turning up immediately on TV Land. I hope that the show joins that network in May, if not sooner, and (I am dreaming, I know) I hope that the episodes are less edited, as they were when "All in the Family" first came to TV Land. Even with TV Land's fewer edits in the beginning, having watched season one and two on dvd, I realize that they still cut out many classic scenes and lines of dialogue. I hope future seasons are released on a more frequent basis, similar to the Deep Space Nine one every two months policy, because, it could be one's only way to see the series.

It seems as though we will be Archieless in April, without either All in the Family or Archie Bunker's Place. I know I am expressing others' opinions when I say that I would take the classic shows any day over Nick's so called "recent" comedy hits. As Archie would say, them people (Nick) always love to play with schedules, yanking your good shows on the sperm of the moment without any priorary notice.

AITF was really on borrowed time. Hell, I'm really surprised it lasted this long. I expected long ago that the life line was running up. I did kind of expect one final change before AITF was dropped. I kind of expected them to move to an even later timeslot before being dropped. Wrong on that account, but right about the dropping.

I def. preferred the classic N @ N to all this recent stuff. That could just be me, others might really enjoy the lineup. It just wouldn't be as bad if they didn't keep running stuff into the ground so fast. It's sad if you are a fan of something and you get sick of the show, because some station won't stop shoving it down your throat. Overkill is a bad thing. It might be so cool to start with, but then you start to get sick of the show you once called 'one of your favorites'.
