I think mine would have to be...The Brady Bunch. I personally think the show is pretty good (at least I did when I watched it) but I get picked on about that a lot.

People do NOT understand my "thing" with taping TV shows, watching them, taping them...etc. I try to not even tell people about it because it goes on to me actually having to EXPLAIN to people about it and they look at me like "uh, okay. whatever". So I pretend I have no obsessions :)

-I Love Lucy (that show used to be, like, my whole life...pitiful)
-I also had an obsession w/the Brady Bunch (or technically w/Peter...that's the embarrassing part).

My current obsession (Sanford and Son) is also one that people consider weird. Well, they actually consider it weird because I'm obsessed with the son. :blush:

Well, I'm in 8th grade, and I would have to say mine is ... old shows like Three's Company and Cheers and so. Because 13-14yr olds would usually be caught watching WB, which I rarely watch

I don't think I have any.. :confused:

My friends used to tease me because I've been an Elton John fan since I was still a toddler. I love his music.

Okay naturally these are former obsessions, I no longer obsess over TV shows. hehe :D

- The Facts of Life (it was a TV show and I was literally OBSESSED. My parents were like why are you so obsessed with that show? Why do you always watch it? lol...)

- I Love Lucy (I had a short obsession with this show incase you people don't remember me changing my name to 'Lucille Ball Forever'... I still like this show and watch it every now and then though.)


- The Spice Girls (Lordy this was like 1997 or earlier when it started and it lasted a few years. My whole family was obsessed with them. Even my mom, lol.)

I would also have to say Backstreet Boys and Spice Girls. They both were good IMO. But I might be one of the only people who think so...

ppl have made fun of me for everything i've liked (been obsessed with). EVERYTHING. but oh well. I like wut I like and thats that.

Ok well...I have some former obsessions that I can't believe myself for these days.

NSYNC and Britney Spears: I was so obsessed with these two it was sad. I liked them from when I was 10 to when I was 12. I had all these posters in my room of them. Every single wall was covered with all NSYNC or all Britney. I'd go crazy if I heard they'd be on TV, even if it would only be for a minute. And...in the summer of 2000 I even wanted to go to an NSYNC concert but it was sold out and i was really, really, mad. But that year I ended up going to a Britney Spears concert instead. It was good...I bought the tickets around February or March and the concert wasn't til July lol, so I would count the days until it finally came time for it. And I'd play their cds over and over and over and over and over again. I would never get tired of hearing their songs. And I *cough*even own NSYNC's home video thing and Britney's too...*cough*and I have two Britney books and two NSYNC books *cough* But now I'm not obsessed with them anymore.

TRL: Oh...I watched this show religiously. Again this was from when I was 10-12. I'd get all excited for it to be 3:30 so I could watch TRL. I'd always want NSYNC to be #1 and I'd get mad if it was BSB or someone else. And if I missed it I'd freak out and be sad for the rest of the day. But then a little later MTV started to show TRL twice. Once at its regular time and then a replay of it in the night time, which made me happy. I never really watch TRL anymore now though...

But now, all I'm obsessed with is Shane West, Three's Company, and Saved by the Bell. Shane West isn't really that embarrassing but Three's Company...yeah, all my friends know about my Three's Company site and how I always talk about it and some people say things about how I'm obsessed with old shows when they watch all current stuff like MTV, WB, etc. And my family even says I'm waaaay too obsessed, lol. But they all like it too. And I've even gotten some of my friends to watch Three's Company...dunno if they liked it or not but actually I really don't care :)...because I love my TC and always will.

Same here. When I was in 5th grade I knew more 50's movie stars than 90's ones and I could recite every episode. People still come up to me and ask me if I can still do it and don't believe me when I say no. :lol:

For a while I was really into toy collecting.
I read every magazine on action figures, went to every Toy show in the NYC area, searched every toy store I could on weekends (I had lists of stores all over New Jersey and later when I moved, New York City) I could tell you the value of any action figure and the days Toys R Us got new shipments in.

They say that you enjoy things a hell of a lot more if you're not obsessed. Once you're obsessed, you become so attached that thing or person that if you're literally away from it for more than a day or two, it ruins you. It ruins the show you watch and vow never to watch it again.

The 80s singer Falco is def. at the top of my list. He had like 2 big hits in America and I was totally obsessed with the man. I still like his songs, but geez, I get so embarassed if someone mentions his name. lol Oh, and I should mention that this was like 1996-1997.

Mrs. Blasland, definately. I didn't have any school friends for awhile, just cos I wouldn't tell them. Now I've told most of them (which has made my life SO much better) but I'm WAY too obsessed. I have her picture in my locket and today, I was watching Will and Grace, laughing my ass off and then there was this pregnant woman in this commercial and I thought "What if Mrs. Blasland had another kid?" and I started sobbing. *ick* I really need help.

A lot of things mentioned I have been obsessed with before: NSYNC- that was BAD LOl. Britney Spears, 2000 was the year of pop for me. Lizzie McGuire. Ok, I still love the show and Im gonna go see Agent Cody Banks & The LM Movie all by myself LOl. All those stupid magazines- Teen, YM, 17.. Nick@Nite. Before it it was flushed down the toliet.

Right now, my only obsessions are:
Happy Days/Laverne & Shirley. This is actually the only one that has stood the test of time. I used to be embarassed about saying these were my fav. shows, but who cares anymore?!? Ill wear my Fonzie watch with PRIDE!
TV in General. Ok, well thats been an obsession since I was a kid too. Anything TV Im obsessed with. TVGUIDES, TVLAND, Brady Bunch (Agreed when I say Peter is cute..;)), books..

I waste a ot of tape space taping old shows like Designing Women, and others, and my mom always makes fun of me for still watching that show. Also my family has this new obssession with trying to catch the mice that live in our attic.

I used to say that, when I was about um 13. I picked it up from my friend Jessica who used to say it all the time. Now that Ive figured out who I am, then It would really stupid to use it. It also makes you look really ignorant if you keep saying "this is gay" "no, cause I'm not gay". Being gay should not be an insult, and you should think about how it makes some people feel when you say it. JMO.

Im with you when you say you dont like how the term Gay is used. I especially hate it when people use the term ******** for the wrong meaning. Saying Thats so gay or Thats so ********! Is insulting IMO.
