View Full Version : ahhhh Hollow 03-05-2003, 08:10 PM ahhhh Penny Lane 03-05-2003, 08:17 PM I know that this will sound dated and banal but when I was in high school(60's) we could not wear skirts any more that 2-3 inches above our knees and the boys were required to have their shirts tucked in and wear belts! No beards, sideburns, long hair, etc. We girls weren't even allowed to wear pants to school!:( That changed in the 70's though:) So think about it.......... Do you REALLY have it so bad? *PinkLady* 03-05-2003, 10:20 PM What your friends do has nothing to do with what you do...unless, of course, you're copying their actions or something. If you weren't doing that, then that's a freaking ******** rule. ~LadyJess~ 03-05-2003, 11:01 PM I don't understand some of the rules at your school. I could see if you were following your friends actions or provoking them to do something but just because they are your friend is plain stupid. -*Leah*- 03-05-2003, 11:12 PM that rule must suck:eek: Ewan's My Man 03-05-2003, 11:15 PM That's not right... AKA 03-05-2003, 11:19 PM Wow, who's your principal? Hitler? Judging from your posts you go to the worst school ever. Either that or you just like to complain a lot. *ShortCake* 03-05-2003, 11:21 PM No way.. hitler is my perspective drawing teacher in disguise! LOL.. That sucks tho Sara, im sorry! :(. Warm & Fuzzy 03-05-2003, 11:25 PM Originally posted by Penny Lane we could not wear skirts 2-3 inches above the knees We STILL can't in our school. And Sarah, and I personally think that rule would be semi-efficient. Like, for instance... you stole the principal's uh... neck tie, LOL. He goes, "Who stole it.. blah blah blah" You know.. the typical stuff. Since he suspects that you did it, which was true... and you won't admit it... he punishes your friend. Hence making you feel bad about getting your friend in trouble. Later on, your friend's gonna find out he/she got punished for YOUR faults. Hence you'll probably fess up to get your friend out of trouble. It's all bribe I tell yah. ;) Got me? LOL Classic FOL Fanatic 03-05-2003, 11:31 PM how, and why, would you get punished for your friends actions? that's stupid! Rhiannon 03-06-2003, 12:00 AM If you have a ton of kids that go to your school and only 4 Principal/ Vice Principals, how are they going to know who is who's friend and who to punish for what they're friend did? I think MY teachers/aministrators would be confused up to that point then they'd be just like "Screw the system, write everyone up" opus 03-01-2025, 01:02 AM ahhhh man Dude111 03-01-2025, 02:25 AM Originally posted by *PinkLady* What your friends do has nothing to do with what you do...unless, of course, you're copying their actions or something.Yes its not good to be a puppet and do what someone else does!!
