I know all about Lucy and Desi. I have every book about them and by them. We were talking about the characters anyway. I don't care to
say anything about their personal lives execpt for the fact that the media should
watch what they print. I believe that they
made him out to be worse than he was. They
do that with all celebrities. Freedom of speech or not, the media is to blame for alot
of the problems in their personal lives. To
be quite frank, it is no ones business unless
the individuals themselves choose to bring it
out. I also happen to know that no matter what happened they both loved each other until they died, they just couldn't stay
married. Some couples are like that. They were divorced, but they never really separated, despite they were married to someone else. Please don't take this personal, that subject is a sore spot with me and i know it is with Desi Jr. and Lucie
as well.

I think Desilu Arnaz really did cheat on Lucille Ball. I am just giving you my opinion. And, Desilu Arnaz was only human and he was allowed to have human error. I do not hate Desilu Arnaz - I just feel he should have treated Lucille Ball a lot better. Actually, my whole family believes this.

But, thanks for sharing your opinion with me.

I have been a Bill Bixby fan for over 28 years, now. Bill Bixby is simply gorgeous -- and Bill Bixby is gorgeous inside and outside. Bill Bixby was a simply gorgeous human-being.

But, I think Desilu Arnaz was handsome.

My all time fav besides lucy ofcourse is ethel.. she was lucy's side kick, co- collaborator in schemes and best friend. I wouldve liked to have seen ethel in more of a starring role for a few episodes.. a few better outfits and something more glamourous going on...

Lucy was, hands down, the best; Ethel was a close second. Ricky would rank third and Fred a distant fourth. What made this show so outstanding was four totally different personalities coming together, forming what became a perfect ensemble.

My favorite's were Lucy and Ethel.. and of course fred with his wit..LOL, and my favorite guest star was Bob Hope

I agree that Bob Hope was one of the best guest stars.
My favorite character would probably be Ethel, and i think there were some really funny scenes with Ethel and Fred.
My favorite episodes are "Breaking the Lease" and favorite scene, "Vitametavegamin (no responsibility for the spelling on that! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif lol)

I'd say that Ethel Mertz was my favorite characters on the show, mainly because she made jokes about her and Fred all the time, and she would crack me up. My favorite guest star on the show was probably either Orson Welles, George Reeves, or Fred Macmurray.
