Has this happened to anyone else? On Saturday, I went to watch ABP and TV Land (channel 73 here in the Chicagoland area) was gone! There was nothing but a blue screen. When I tuned in to watch The Brady Bunch at 7 that night, TV Land was back on. I've been noticing, when watching the first episode of Happy Days at 3, at exactly 10 minutes after 3, the picture looks funny with squares and lines and then the channel is out. Yesterday, it was out for twenty minutes. Today, it went out at the same time, but is still out now. The rest of our cable channels work fine. TV Land is the only channel going in and out. I'd like to retape "Growing Up Is Hard To Do" on March 10, I hope TV Land will be back on for that. And I hope it will be working for the TV Land Awards too. I don't know why it always goes out in the afternoon during Happy Days. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Is it the TV Land station themselves that this is happening, or the cable itself? After several days of having the channel go off and on, it's getting frustrating. I'm missing the rest of ABP (which won't be on much longer).

Hey,
That sucks about your TV Land going out like that. Since it's more than once I would contact your cable company. Tell them what happens with the picture, that it only goes out on TV Land, and how often it goes out. Who is your cable company? Do you have analog or digital cable?
We used to have a problem with our digital where the picture on the digital channels would occasionally break up into little pixels. Cable came out and after running some tests they sent some line guys out and it turned out to be a voltage fluxation in the line. It's been fixed now for some time.
Let us know what happens. What a shame that AITF won't be coming to TV Land. Let's keep our fingers crossed for May!!!

It hasn't gone out in awhile. The last time it did was about two weeks ago, when I was about to tape 'Growing Up Is Hard to Do.' My first copy of that wasn't so great, but, oh well. At least TV Land hasn't gone out since then. If it does, I will contact my cable company. We don't have digital cable. Just analog. Thanks for your response. :)
