I can't believe I did this! I went to take my temp, I put the plastic covering over it and everything and shook it down. I put in my mouth, well do you think I could read the darn thing. I don't know why we don't have one of those digital things, anyway, I asked my father to read it. I asked the wrong person. He said oh it's 105. :eek2: So then i'm like no way. So I put a new cover on it and asked my sister-in-law. It was 97.7. The worst part was that it wasn't an oral thermometer. I kid you not! Ugh! when I think about where that was! Ack!!! :barf:

Anyway, I thought i'd share my humiliating experience. :o

That Chloraseptic spray is good too. It sorta numbs the throat temporarily in those cases where it hurts to even swallow. It's not a cure though, just a quick fix so you can tolerate the discomfort until your throat heals.
