Ok, I'll be fair, I didn't really want to see MYBGL, but I decided to give it a chance, so I did, and you want to know I thought...... VERY LAME. What suprises me is the fact that it had about 16 million viewers watching, whitch left about 9.9 million viewers for Becker, I'm not saying thats bad, I'm just quite suprised, I mean everybody in showbiz said 'Oh that won't work, it will be history', anyways, just because it had a huge amount of viewers, that doesn't exactly mean that its the #1 new comedy, yeppy! Not, but anyways what I'm trying to say is that ever since last Sunday CBS has advertised Becker like every commerical, and I'm happy, but what I don't get is  they wait until the tail end of the season to start advertiseing Becker, whats up with that? CBS needs to so get their acts together.Oh and about Becker being renewed for next year, I checked tvguide.com, and I didn't see it on the list for renewals, we'll just have to wait and see. I still say Becker is a winner. I personally wish Becker was on at 7:00 pm rather than 7:30, what do all you think?
PS>The Becker and Chris story is coming back I believe within the next three weeks. :talk:
I hope that MYBGL gets moved to 7:30, the only funny people in that show is the married couple and joey from NYSNC.......

I kinda like the tv show but only because that family reminds me of my own and that AUNT is so my Aunt
but I will say the Movie WAS Better (being as I just saw it)
that is odd about Becker though hopefully things will look up soon

Let's all try to be optimistic about this. Becker isn't on the renewal list but it's not on the cancelled list either. I'm sure that it'll at least come back for 1 more season. This doesn't really surprise all that much. It's ratings have been a bit shaky all season. Its ratings weren't great at the beginning of the season but then they slowely started increasing. The show had two MAJOR things going against it this season: Terry Farrell's departure, and the new timeslot. I think it's secure though.

I haven't seen My Big Fat Greek Life, but I've heard nothing but horrible things about it, which is a shame because I saw part of the movie and it was pretty good.

Possibly because they moved Becker from Monday to Sundays for some reason.Becker had huge ratings success after Everybody Loves Raymond, and then they moved it to Sundays where it follows the old standby 60 Minutes which has fallen from the top 20 for the first time in years. Hopefully CBS will reconsider moving Becker back to Mondays or a decent time slot with less competition.

Here is my take:
They didn't advertise Becker much in the first half of the season because of football. It was never on when it was supposed to be, if not outright cancelled. You can't tell people to watch Becker on Sunday when you never know when it will be on or what episode they are going to show.
As for next year, I think Becker will definitley be back.
It is strong in light of a crappy time slot and all the jerking around with football and the lame sitcoms they pair it with.
The Greek Life show will not last, it is a novelty in my opinion and bares little resemblence to the feel of the movie. It is all contrived and doped down.
