He was so dreamy and had that charm that is no longer found in today's men. A great dad (even when he made mistakes he admitted it). And quite the awesome husband which for me is one of the biggest reasons I love Ward from a woman's stand point. The sweet way he talks to June and makes certain the boys treat her with respect and not upset her, he makes sure he takes her out on dates on a regular basis, he helps her do dishes constantly and fixes things around the house. All this makes Wrad incredibly handsome and sexy!:D IMO, Hugh and Barbara brought the characters of Ward and June so alive that sometimes it's hard to believe they were fictionalized. The connection and chemistry between these two remarkable actors were out of this world and LITB IMO would have never been the same had they not played Ward and June...JMO. |
