View Full Version : Nancy McKeon..Annoying?
XoVanillaRain90oX 03-04-2003, 07:45 PM I was on this site, AmIAnnoying.com and found this.
Why she might be annoying:
She turned down a chance to be in the 'Facts of Life' reunion movie, citing, 'I'm just not a fan of that kind of thing. I would not watch it, so why would I be in it? It's just never the same.'
She starred in 2 CBS series in the mid-90s that failed miserably.
In Facts Of Life's 6th season, she missed the taping of the first two episodes and was nearly fired.
She has had Alex Rocco play her father in nearly every TV show she has done.
Why she might not be annoying:
Even though she did not participate in the 'Facts of Life' reunion, she did offer to direct a movie which had the other girls reunite after her former character's death.
She also chose not to participate because she did not want to be typecast as her 'Facts of Life' character.
She has a cult following, and is widely regarded as the most popular of the 'Facts of Life' girls.
She got her big break by being spotted in a Hallmark commercial by Brandon Tartikoff.
She dated Michael J. Fox for three years.
Sheesh. What're your thoughts on this?
Warm & Fuzzy 03-04-2003, 09:13 PM Those things don't necessarily make someone annoying or not annoying...
*Marilyn Monroe* 03-04-2003, 09:16 PM Of course Nancy's not annoying! What were the percentage of votes on whether or not she is?

thegreatunknown 03-17-2003, 06:59 PM I heard that Nancy McKeon dropped out of high school and later on made up for it in the form of an equivelancy or GED. Happy now?
Hershey 03-18-2003, 09:18 PM How could she go to a high school when she was doing a weekly show and other movies? She had tutors on the sets. She even said that in her IP. I wish I didnt have to go to a real high school sometimes.
thegreatunknown 03-23-2003, 03:32 AM  Mr./Mrs. VannilaRox, You may think that Nancy McKeon is bad for having Alex Rocco act alongside her in nearly every show and movie she's been in. But would you say that Andy Griffith is bad? Even he's had Don Knotts aka Barney Fife act alongside him on Matlock, ya know!. And what about Ben Affleck and Matt Damion? What about Jack Nickolson and Scatmonn Kruthers during the 80's before Scattmon Kruthers finally passed away? Huh?!? Whould you say that Jack Nickolson is bad? And what about George Clooney and either Mark Whalberg or Chris O'Donnell?
Just because you act alongside someone else in numerous projects doesn't make you a bad actor or celebrity. Have you ever heard of acting teams? Look it up!!!!!
Other examples: Joe Pechi and Robert DeNero, Walter Matheau and Jack Lemmon, Richard Pryor and Jene Wilder.

I completely agree with you, but those werent necessarily Lisa's opinions. She got them off of a website.
