I was initially all indignate that family Ties shown about as much as Charles In Charge and after.

But even though I enjoy Family Ties more, I actually see that charles In Charge is a very enjoyable show to me now. It has an excellent theme song that is very 80's and the plots are funny. So now,....

I want , I want ,I want Charles in Charge on tv.

I would like to see Nick at Nite to show the first season of Charles In Charge that aired on CBS from 1984-1985 with the Pembrooke family and Charles even had a girlfriend in that season named Gwendolyn. All that Nick at Nite is showing right now are the shows that were in syndication from 1986-1990. You will probably like the first season shows as well when and if Nick at Nite decides to air them. Charles In Charge is my favorite show as well and I have seen every episode,the CBS years and the shows that aired in syndication in reruns of course.

When will N@N finally air those first season episodes? I'm getting fusterated. I have wanted to see them once and for all. I already many problems with N@N. Another thing I do not understand is why they put this show so late at night and flood the first few hours with way too many back-to-backs. I wouldn't really watch this show even if it was on earlier, (except when the time comes I would catch the first season) but for those of you that would, it's only fair to put this on earlier, along with Family Ties and (gulp) maybe a few others. A couple of the others I hate, but let's be fair. We don't need to see 4 episodes of Cosby show a night, especially when the 12-1 epsiodes air the next day at 9-10. I can only assume that the 4 epsiodes of Cheers does the same thing. It's really bizarre.

The first I have seen of Gwendolyn is her return which aired last night. She was about to tell Charles of her future marriage to a guy named Richard, or was it Robert. No matter, it ended off with Charles making a marriage proposal. The continuation is early this morning.
