Here's just a little story that Bethany (Dr. Lilith Sternin) told me to relay to everyone. She would herself, but having just moved to New York City for school, she doesn't have her Internet connection yet (which might explain the lack of Kool-Aid here as of late). Anyway, here goes...

Bethy's friend was walking around in Times Square a few days ago, and this woman was "bouncing cheerfully" as she walked next to him, but, because of the crowd, she kept running into him. Anyway, he was getting annoyed with this person bumping into him, so when he looked over to say something to her, who was it? That's right, kids, Bebe Neuwirth. She was carrying this tote bag, so apparently she had just come from rehearsal (I heard something about an upcoming show, but don't quote me on that) or a workshop, something like that. And she was wearing this red, fuzzy hat, which I only mention because Dulcey finds it particularly amusing.

Ah, to Live in New York City. How I envy Bethy.

ok, thats it...Krista has made up her mind...of all the colleges that sent me letters, I am going to St. Johns, which is in New York City... NYC, here I come!!

Here I am, chickadees... at the good ole internet cafe on 42nd. Ugh... Earthlink hates me. I should have my internet by Saturday *crosses fingers*. Life is so busy and my nose is so sore (Bethy's getting a cold... ack! *grabs the tea*). My little feet hurt from tapping them off... my legs are sore from flinging them about (*cries...* I have jazz at 9 am tomorrow!!!)... my mind hurts from thinking so much... my jaw hurts from endless vocal exercises. I wake up every day and think to myself... "This is what I REALLY want... really, it is!" And then the lyrics to "My Simple Christmas Wish" run through my mind and I think... life would be so much easier if everything was just handed to me... then I think... but where would be the satisfaction in that? So, here I am... utterly sore and tired... and... on my way to satisfaction! I'm in the city... that's a step up in itself. Oh, and I live a few streets over from Bernadette Peters. Could life be any greater? Well, only if I were a few mil. richer... however, I digress.

I've seen some good theatre and get to sing, dance and act all day long... somebody pinch me! HOWEVER, I do NOT have Nick at Nite and always end up missing Cheers on the WB... what time does Cheers come on on WB11? Anyone in the NY area?????

As if I even have time for TV. *sigh*

So, yeah... Bebe, I believe, was rehearsing for "Nothing Like a Dame." However, she'll be doing a cabaret thinky next month, as well, and last November, she DID say a show was in the works. I'll keep y'all updated and you'll be sure to hear about the day Bebe walks in to me... it will happen. LOL.
