It seems that so MANY people, fanbases, are unhappy. Here's why each is mad and what they are mad at:

The J&M fanbase:
Is ticked off more than any other fanbase right now. They are so sick of J&M getting the crappy storylines and being shoved to the back. We thought finally we were going to get a story but as you know this Gemini Twit Storyline BITES!!! At times it is ok and even good but here lately it just gets worse and worse. Also, you never see a J&M flashback. Are all the J&M tapes locked up in a vault somewhere? And now the spoilers say SHELLE will reunite on the Pier. That has really gotten some people's feathers ruffled. J&M reunited on the pier and so many feel that that is their place. And Shelle reuniting there is disrespectful to J&M. In many people's opinions.

The BOPE fanbase:
Is ticked off right now because Shelle are being pushed in front of BOPE and Bope is now in the back of this story. Bope fans are sick of Shelle.

The J&J fanbase:
Is ticked off because they lost the Murder at Midnight Storyline, they feel like that should have been more of a J&J storyline.

Now for the BATTLE that is going on. All three of those fanbases are TICKED MORE THAN WORDS CAN DESCRIBE at BROE and SHELLE. BROE is getting more airtime than the supercouples and now that Shelle is being pushed up front they are also in the firing lane. Therefore Broe and Shelle fans have been fighting with J&J, BOPE, and J&M fans for a while now, but here lately it's gotten to where the show's ratings are going down because of it.

Now not ALL J&M, BOPE, and J&J fans feel angry or are unhappy with the storylines right now. There are many who are happy and are enjoying them. And who are not mad when it comes to Broe or Shelle. I'm not saying that everyone hates Shelle or everyone hates Broe that is a J&M, J&J, or Bope fan either. There are many who are for example a J&M fan and a Shelle fan. But there are a lot that are not happy and that are mad.

The way, the ONLY way, to fix this problem is to show the SUPERCOUPLES more and put them back up front but FIRST the writers need to fix their storylines. But they also need to show Shelle some they do have a fanbase. So they need to be shown SOME.

Dena Higley's writing is supposed to start airing in a few days. I guess we will just have to wait and see if there is going to be any change in the way things are going. I hope that there is.

Anyway I was just wondering how you all felt about this "BATTLE". What do you think???

will be the start of it.

IMO, it's time to see the real passion
and drama of Days of Our Lives. It's
cute to watch Shelle, it's nice to watch
Broe, but the real passion and drama
is all about the real super couples, which we haven't seen for some time.
So, IMO, cut down on Shelle, show
a tad bit more of Broe, but not much
and show alot more of the real super
couples, John & Marlena and Bo & Hope.
I'm not sure about Jack & Jennifer though. I'm sure alot of people think
they also are a super couple, but I
don't see them as a super couple.
Don't get me wrong, they do have passion
but just not like John & Marlena and Bo & Hope, just my honest opinion.

That's EXACTLY how I feel about Jack and Jen I don't think that they are a supercouple but I was afraid that someone on here might chew me out if I didn't say that they were. But I honestly don't think so, they've been off on the show for so long till that has took away from them as a couple. Which is one reason why I just don't think that they are one. GREAT POST!!! Same here, people can get real touchy about a person or a couple that everyone
likes, if he/she/they are insulted. That's why I tried to word it politely, so no one would be offended.

From my personal point of view, I think Jack and Jen are far from being a super
couple, maybe in a year or two, but certainly not right now. JMO!!
