~Tropical Punch 19~ 03-02-2003, 12:26 AM I know this happeend like 6 yrs ago, but I was reading a book written by the parents of jonbenet Ramsey, and it is very interesting. So, who do you think killed her? i used to think her father, but after reading this I don't know...
¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 03-02-2003, 12:47 AM I dunno. Ive heard so many different stories over the course of 6 years I dont even know whats going on.
Hollow 03-02-2003, 01:18 AM I heard somewhere that her parents killed her cuz she was wearin panties that were too big...yeah im sure of it
Janice 03-02-2003, 01:40 AM From everything I've read about the case and from what I've seen on TV, I don't think the parents were involved in her death. The cops in Sleepytown affluent Boulder had little experience with crimes of this nature and didn't look beyond their noses.
The original lead detective, who resigned, now believes John and Patsy Ramsey are innocent.
Dateline ran a two-hour investigative report a while back which really made up my mind.
Hollow 03-02-2003, 01:58 AM Why do ppl think her parents killed her?

I'm with you. It's confused me to the point where I don't even care anymore. I would like the killer to be brought to justice, though.
Kay Scarpetta 03-02-2003, 11:16 AM I used to think it was her parents, but I don't know. Part of me thinks it was, the other half doesn't.

I dunno, but if I had to guess I would say her mother, because she always seemed jealous of her, in the old family videos and stuff, I dunno though.

Ditto. I do kind of feel that the parents are involved in some manner, but I don't know. You never really know.
Mijada 03-02-2003, 04:55 PM I think her parents were involved somehow. If they didn't actually kill her, they were involved in the coverup.

Judge: Parents Not Involved in JonBenet Ramsey Murder
DENVER — A federal judge dismissed a lawsuit against the parents of JonBenet Ramsey and criticized police and the FBI for what she said was a media campaign aimed at making the family look guilty.
Authorities never charged the parents in the death of the 6-year-old, whose body was found in the family's Boulder home Dec. 26, 1996. However, police refused to clear the couple of suspicion and ruled out the possibility that an intruder was responsible.
U.S. District Court Judge Julie Carnes of Atlanta said in the ruling this week there was no evidence showing the parents killed Jonbenet the case away from Boulder police earlier this year.
"I think this decision, coupled with Mary Keenan's decision, should allow the Ramseys to win in the court of public opinion also," attorney L. Lin Wood, who represents the Ramseys, said Saturday. "She recognizes in her order that the FBI and the Boulder police used the media to convince people the Ramseys were guilty."
Boulder Police Chief Mark Beckner declined to comment.
Carnes' ruling was in a lawsuit brought by Chris Wolf, a former Boulder journalist whom the Ramseys described as a suspect in a book they wrote about the murder. Wolf had argued in the lawsuit that Patsy Ramsey killed her daughter and tried to cover it up.
The judge said that the Ramseys had defamed Wolf, but to win his case, Wolf would have had to put the Ramseys on trial for murder.
"In short, plaintiff's success in this litigation requires him to prove, by clear and convincing evidence, that defendants killed their child," the judge wrote. She said she dismissed the suit "because there is virtually no evidence to support plaintiff's theory that they murdered their child."
Thanks for posting that Janice. I tend to hold my ammunition in cases like this. The truth can be so distorted by the various players, including the media. Then it can turn on a dime by some new development. My problem with the whole thing was that if the Ramsey's were, as they apparently are, innocent it's such a horrible injustice for them to have suffered the accusation of guilt on top of the loss of their daughter.
I think the Ramseys are innocent. The Jonbenet case reminded me a lot of the Jacqueline Dowaliby case where the parents were also accused of killing their daughter and later got off because it was proven they were innocent. If anything, I think that the killer who killed Jacqueline Dowaliby was the same person who killed Jon Benet Ramsey. Unfortunately, they still haven't found out who that person is.

Unfortunately, I kind of believe this as well :(
julian bozo 04-09-2003, 11:20 PM I'm not really sure who I think did it. I think she is in a much better place now. Also whoever did this will pay dearly one day.
They still think John Walsh is responsible for the murder of his son. He is still on the suspect list even after he has tried so hard to prevent other famailies from going through the same nightmare he and his family went through.
