I recently bought a Nintendo 64. That is what inspired me to start this poll today. What are your favorite video game systems?

My favorite is definatly play station 2, I have one and I'm addictesd to the games I have, the only thing I don't like about it is when it vibrates when you get hit hard.

Super Nintendo. I love the games, Yoshi's Island is my favorite. It's the best video game of all time imo. I also like the Kirby Games for SNES. Sega Genesis would be my second choice because I love their Tiny Toon Games.

The Atari is my favorite because it was the first of the game systems. Too bad they don't make them anymore. :(

The Nintendo GameCube rocks the proverbial house, baby! :) I mean, Super Smash Brothers Melee is one of the best games ever (I rock with Jigglypuff, Pichu and Peach) plus the Sonic Mega Collection also rules. Plus, Sega Sports is available with its top-notch commentary and the little discs are so cool! Plus, all the more cool games to come (Pokemon Colliseum, Mario Kart Cube, Kirby's Air Ride, Sonic Adventure DX, many more)

Yeah, the N64 rocks too (Pokemon Stadium 2, Super Mario 64, many more).

Super Nintendo. The overall quality of the games on that console was superb - why do you think that so many 'new' Gameboy Advance games are ports of old SNES games? I defy anyone to name another machine which has as many classic games as the SNES. Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island, Donkey Kong Country, Starfox, Street Fighter 2, Super Mario Kart, Diddy's Kong Quest.........
Classic games. Classic machine.

Anyone ever play 'Cannon Fodder'? I think it was originaly an Amiga game but I've got it on the SNES.
Anyone got any cheats for it? I'm stuck on this one particular mission and I wondered if there was a level-select available.

My grandparents have an Atari System and they have those three games and more. I didn't add it because I thought everybody besides the adults wouldn't remember them, much less have played them.

NES. I could never get into the more sophisticated systems. All those 3/D graphics confuse me! I still play my old Atari 7800 once in a while.:D

I do like Sega Genesis though. :)

Man! Nobody likes Atari! It's a classic, how could you not like it?!?! I got one at a yard sale a long time ago, along with the original Frogger, Asteroids, Grand Prix and a few others. I also have the first Sega system, It's kinda like the Atari but the games are WAY harder! I also have 2 NES's, a Super NES, a PlayStation, a Gamecube and an Original Gameboy. I just might be a game-a-holic. tee-hee:)

I am 55 years old.

The last and latest video game system I ever bought was almost thirty years ago with the original PlayStation, which was almost thirty years ago. Before that, I had a Genesis consule, and then had a Nintendo 16 Bit sytem. I remember playing on the original PlayStation Crash Bandicoot, and loving that game. I also love the Madden football series and have played several of those games which are a lot of fun.

I will say my favorite is simply the Nintendo 16 Bit and the games. Now, one can buy the consule and a huge list of games and the whole thing is like sixty bucks. I do not think outside of Madden and the NBA sports games (and maybe Golf) I would have any interest at all in the new, modern games. I dont know but the modern games are too complicated with too many buttons, and the games are just not interesting and too complicated. I am a teenager of the 1980's. Give me Asteroids. I love Asteroids. I remember many years ago trying to reach 1,000,000 points and it took me four hours on a desktop computer and failing, reaching about 976,000 points. That was fun for me, although I failed to reach my goal. The games to me dont need to be fancy with ten different buttons. Give me Mario 3 or Tecmo Bowl.
