Ok, Im one of those guys that hates changes. Just the smallest changes make everything seems different. So i wake up today and find my Mom painting the Bathroom. Thats bad enough, Than she says shes going to paint and move around EVERY ROOM. And she didnt even ask what i thought of it! Its not fair, I Like things the way they are and shes trying to change everything because SHE wants to. Than i confront her about it and she yells at me saying it doesn't matter what i think. I Live here too, It should matter what i think.

Don't worry man - my mum is like that too. I think it's just the age she's at - 'the change of life' and all that. She get's wierd notions and ideas in her head and there's no way anyone can talk her out of them. Trying to reason with her is a waste of time.
You're right - you do live in the house too and you should definately have some say in what goes on but there's no way you'll get her to understand that! My parents constantly do things against my wishes and they always offer the same reasoning - "you live under our roof so you'll do as we say". The fact that (a) I pay rent and therefore I'm entitled to a say in how things are run and (b) practically all of the disputes we have are about my parents treatment of my personal belongings and my room - all of which I paid for myself and for which I pay rent each and every month and always on time - doesn't seem to matter to them.
It sucks. As soon as I get my $h!t together I'm moving to the city. I'm sick of this ******** little town and all the screwed-up people who live here. And most of all, I'm sick of my bloody parents!!!!!!!

I hate it when I come home and find the furniture in my room rearranged, or the stuff piled on my desk, etc. in disarray. This happens quite often, and only to my room. I want my mom to keep her nose out of my business!

Hey Chad, You look a lot older than 16 from what I've seen. I thought you were in your 20's atleast. Anyway, all mothers are like that, you're just gonna have to learn to live with it. It sucks, but you won't have to put up with it for too much longer, you can move out in a few years.
