When did you last go on a big shopping trip? Where did you go and what did you get?
Today I went shopping in Clydebank and spent a helluva lot of money! I got -

* a new cell phone - it's awesome - it's silver with Homer and Bart Simpson on it!
* a black t-shirt with 2 red dice on it and 'Player' written accross it in big white letters
* a red shirt with black tribal designs all over it - perfect for going to the clubs
* a big, chunky silver neckchain - I already had one but it wasn't heavy enough so I got a bigger, more expensive one

What about you guys?

Well of course, when I became punk! It cost me alot.

Ties, punk shirts, baggy pants, spikey bracelets, striped hardcore socks, punk shoes (chucks), hair straightener, sweatbands, armwarmers, basically clearing out my local hot topic.

I don't wear ties anymore though, they aren't that punk anymore...

On my last shopping trip (I like going by myself because I can do what I want and don't have to like do what my partner wants to do lol) anyways I was by myself and I went to the WestDale mall in Cedar Rapids (During the BPA Competition trip.)

I went to a lot of stores like Spencer's Gifts and Software Etc. and stuff but all I spent was $1.25 at this chicken stand cuz I bought some Waffle Fries!

But the next day I went to Pamida in Toledo (Thank u Ms. Green for taking me!) and bought a Playstation game on sale for 14.99!

My last major shopping trip was about a month ago with Becky. We had gone to the mall and I blew off ~$200. I hate the malls though, so I rarely go. I go out shopping though atleast once a week. I have to be strong though and not go out b/c NYC is coming up..

I thought punk was a mindset, not a way of dressing. Also, I thought punk rockers were agains materialistic stuff.

"real punks" would only shop at thrift stores, not hot topic and those other Gap kind of stores. "punk" is just another popular trend.

Either that or make things themselves...I've seen some awesome DIY clothes.

I went to my local mall a couple of weeks ago and bought this cute maroon hooded sweatshirt. It was $9 on sale and I couldn't resist. I also bought a pink Old Navy T-shirt to go with it.

She's serious - I think it's pretty obvious that 'punk' is nothing more than an image gimmick to Avril Lavigne

I'm not punk. I don't care for punk. Punk is about the attitude, rebelling, anarchy. At least thats what it originally was.

I go to the mall about once a month to see if anything is on sale. I hardly ever buy anything especially clothes unless they are on sale. The last time I was there I bought a pair of spring PJs at Aeropostale and a couple necklaces from Claires.
