"Veritas: The Quest"
CBS-
"Presidio Med" [has been declining]
"Queens Surpreme" [same]
NBC-
"Good Morning Miami"
"In-Laws" [im not sure if its already cancelled]
"Hidden Hills"
"Mister Sterling"
"AUSA"
"Kingpin"
WB-
"Sabrina the Teenage Witch" [declining]
"Greetings From Tucson" [low retention rate]
"Do Over" [low ratings]
"Family Affair"
"Dawson's Creek"
"Angel"
"Grounded For Life" [FOX cancelled it, so maybe WB will too]
FOX-
"Fastlane"
"Oliver Beene"
UPN-
"The Twilight Zone"
"Abby"
Christopher 03-01-2003, 12:04 PM ABC-
Life With Bonnie (I just hate it, it's not funny. But I think it was renewed for another season)
Drew Carey (oh please let this stupid unfunny show get canceled!!)
George Lopez (the guy is annoying as hell)
CBS-
Don't watch this network
NBC-
Good Morning Miami (I just hate it)
Hidden Hills (it was stupid I didn't like it)
WB-
Sabrina the Teenage Witch (this show is done I don't think it's funny anymore)
Greetings From Tucson (well since it's not on air and it has low ratings I'm sure it's canceled)
Do Over (that kid on the show annoyed I hope it's canceled)
Dawson's Creek (yep it's canceled already)
Angel (don't count on it being canceled yet)
FOX-
That 70's Show
UPN-
:crying: Buffy The Vampire Slayer :crying: (Sarah already quit this show so UPN canceled it  dumb jerks)
Abby (it's not funny)
David 03-01-2003, 01:42 PM ABC-
Life With Bonnie (I just hate it, it's not funny. But I think it was renewed for another season)
Drew Carey (oh please let this stupid unfunny show get canceled!!)
George Lopez (the guy is annoying as hell)
Life With Bonnie got renewed for another season, along with George and Drew. Sorry.
WB-
Sabrina the Teenage Witch (this show is done I don't think it's funny anymore)
Greetings From Tucson (well since it's not on air and it has low ratings I'm sure it's canceled)
Do Over (that kid on the show annoyed I hope it's canceled)
Dawson's Creek (yep it's canceled already)
Angel (don't count on it being canceled yet)
Sabrina just got cancelled along with Dawson. Angel and Do Over I think got cancelled, and Greetings From Tucson hasnt though. And when you said "its not on air". It is. Last night, they just removed it to make room for "Grounded For Life"
FOX-
That 70's Show
Renewed for 2003-2004, and I think a 2004-2005 season.
Anna4 03-01-2003, 02:57 PM WB
1. Do Over- Dips to far below its already weak lead in Family Affair.
2. Family Afair- Doesnt start the night off strongly.
3. Greetings From Tuscon- Dipps to far below its Reba Lead in.
4. Dawsons Creek- Already cancelled after seven seasons.
5. Angel- On the fence and still slipping.
FOX
1. Fastlane- Even with a new timeslot failed to increase ratings.
2. John Doe- Not a ratings hit by any means.
3. Cedric The Entertainer- Can't hold on to lead in.
UPN
1. Abby- Not funny and it shows in the ratings, constanly last place in it's time slot and can't hold on to Buffy The Vampire Slayer Lead in. Even a repeat of UPN's cycling repeats of The Parkers, Half and Half, One on One and Girlfriends manage to notch a higher rating than an original episode of Abby.
2. Buffy the Vampire Slayer- Already cancelled after seven Seasons
NBC
1. In- Laws-Cancelled but no official announcement yet.
2. Hidden Hills- Cancelled but no official announcement yet.
3. A.U.S.A.- Dipps considerably from eroding Frasier Lead in.
4. Scrubs- Pulled from the sweeps is not a good sign as NBC shows it doesn't have much faith in it. For the first time not airing after Friends, when it was moved to 9:30pm one night ratings dropped considerably which showed that it only benefits from Friends lead in and cannot be watched on its own merits.
5. Mister Sterling- Still winning its time period but floundering in the ratings.
6. American Dreams- Slipping each week.

I agree with Fastlane. John Doe is actually doing okay, it's been the best Friday FOX show in years. Cedric the Entertainer used to have like a 90+% lead in from Bernie Mac! I dont know now though.
NBC
2. Hidden Hills- Cancelled but no official announcement yet.
This is cancelled???
4. Scrubs- Pulled from the sweeps is not a good sign as NBC shows it doesn't have much faith in it. I agree!!!! Friends really helps. Scrubs really has no Thursday night "speciality" in it.
6. American Dreams- Slipping each week
Surprisingly, it got picked up for 25 episodes this season
Also, do you guys think "What I Like About You" will return for another season?
Anna4 03-01-2003, 04:49 PM I think What I Like About You will not get renewed, its always the lowest rated of all the 4 sitcoms on The WB Friday night and they rarely advertise for it.
*PinkLady* 03-01-2003, 09:28 PM I hardly watch any of these shows, so I'll explain the ones I know.
WB-
"Sabrina the Teenage Witch" [declining] - I agree. I used to like this show, but it's gone through waaay too many changes.
"Greetings From Tucson" [low retention rate] - Absolutely the unfunniest show I have ever watched.
"Do Over" [low ratings] - I kind of liked it.
"Family Affair" - Isn't it supposed to be a ripoff of the other one?
"Dawson's Creek" - I hate this show. It's the last season anyway.
"Grounded For Life" [FOX cancelled it, so maybe WB will too] - It's a funny show. I don't know why no one wants to keep it.
dawsongirl 03-01-2003, 11:19 PM What is "Abby"? I've never even heard of it.

UPN comedy that airs after Buffy on Tuesday nights. It isn't funny I don't like it.
Anna4 03-02-2003, 12:08 AM And i hate it when the commercials for Abby say "Red hot comedy" and "See why America Loves Abby". Oh yea right

I know lol sorry fans but the actress who plays Abby acts too goofy. I saw the episode with her mother because it looked funny, it wasn't, Abby just annoyed me.
ClassicComedyFan2 03-02-2003, 11:01 AM Sabrina's been canned? Pity.
I really, really hope that "Frasier" goes in for another season. Also, I'm glad "Enterprise" is on for another season
Oh, yeah, let's hope "America's Funniest Home Videos" comes back.
And, of course, "The Simpsons" will return.
And, "Family Affair" would go back to back well with the planned remake of "Courtship of Eddie's Father" under development. ("Family Affair" is an ok show)
Chocoholic 03-02-2003, 08:46 PM I hope Scrubs comes back. It's such a fresh and funny show and it's one of the few shows I currently watch.
I hope Andy Richter Controls the Universe comes back too, but it will probably be cancelled.
I'm disappointed that Presidio Med was cancelled. I thought it had some potential.
I think it's time for Everybody Loves Raymond to go. I've always liked it, but I think it has gotten very dull, repetitive, and mean-spirited. I still watch, but only if I'm home and I have nothing else to do.
ER needs to be taken off life support, stat! Still watch it though.
Ed also needs to be put out of its misery.
The Simpsons is renewed until at least the end of the 16th season.

I thought Scrubs was doing well, doesn't it have good ratings?
I agree I hate Everbody Loves Raymond but lets face it CBS is stupid, they will never cancel it :(.
I love The Simpsons I hope it goes on to it's 20th season :p

Scrubs is doing well. I'm sure it will stay around. It's certainly better than that tired Frasier and that unfunny Friends, IMHO.
I hope The Simpsons goes into its 20th season too :D
IGNTBone 03-03-2003, 01:41 AM I'd give Oliver Beene a chance, personally. I'm actually looking forward to it. The boy who plays the title character, Grant Rosenmayer, lives in my town. So we're all kinda pulling for him :D
David 03-03-2003, 05:55 PM I think What I Like About You will not get renewed, its always the lowest rated of all the 4 sitcoms on The WB Friday night and they rarely advertise for it.
Some TV sources say that even though What I Like About You is getting the lowest ratings of theWB's Friday night lineup, they say it is up a great percent from last year, and is a great lead in for the former 8:30 show, Sabrina.
I thought Scrubs was doing well, doesn't it have good ratings?
Scrubs does, but it's all because Friends. Also, NBC, you can tell, doesnt have much faith in it, because they sometimes dont even show it (FEbruary). Also, one night, a new fresh episode of Scrubs was put at 9:30, because Friends was doubled, and Will/GRace was at 9:00, and Scrubs scored low ratings. But I really do think it will be back next season. No post-friends show really had ratings like "Scrubs"
ER needs to be taken off life support, stat! Still watch it though.
I agree all the way! I also think ED needs to go
James 03-05-2003, 01:27 PM I believe the following shows will not return:
ABC: Drew Carey, NYPD Blue
CBS: Big Brother (There's been talk about BB4, but remember they cancelled Gilligan's Island right before the start of the 1967-68 season!)
NBC: Fear Factor, Just Shoot Me, The West Wing
Fox: Boston Public
UPN: WWE Smackdown!

I think Dragnet is doing okay in the ratings. Veritas and Miracles, on the other hand, will most likely get the axe
Drew Carey has one more season left in a three-season contract, which i'm sure makes ABC feel sick to their stomach. The show has been shelved until Summer & may not make it on the fall schedule. However since WB already sold next season's episodes into the syndication wheel, ABC will probably burn off the show as mid-season replacement like Step-by-Step, Hangin' w/ Mr. Cooper or Perfect Strangers.
David 03-20-2003, 05:17 PM Step By Step was a midseason replacement?
If I remember right the last year that it was on ABC it was, just prior to moving to CBS in the Fall.
Oliver Beene is not my cup of tea, but I accidentally caught some of it after Simpsons. So it's set in the 60s and it has character narration--sounds like "The Wonder Years" which I never found funny at all, "Doogie Howser MD" was much superior.

The Wonder Years wasn't supposed to be funny. It was a drama for the most part, kind of like The Waltons. However, Wayne, Kevin's brother, provided a lot of funny moments!
A show for the ages!

Chocoholic 03-27-2003, 03:54 PM I just read at TVGuide.com that Just Shoot Me has officially been cancelled. I didn't even realize it was still on.

Step by Step was NOT a midseason replacement. It premiered in the fall of 1991 after Family Matters, that's why Full House moved to Tuesdays at 8pm that year.
